OVPN Accelerator Script for Client Router Implementations
Your VPN accelerator is a feature of almost all implementations of your VPN except custom configurations for OVPN client routers.
And routers could perhaps more than any other device stand to benefit the most!

Give us the ablility to exclude specific servers.
Youtube has been blocking based on IP. Once that happens, I wouldn't mind excluding those servers.

Clear all formatting in iOS app
Hello there,
Could you kindly add the option/alternative/function/button "Clear all formatting" in the iOS app's email editor? I use it all the time in the browser, and miss it on my phone. It's extremely helpful for clearing all formats from e.g., pasted text and more.

ProtonVPN Docker App
It would be amazing to have ProtonVPN natively support Docker.
There is a github project that had limited support for this, but seems to be broken now that the logicals API (https://api.protonvpn.ch/vpn/logicals) is depreciated.
A full featured Docker app would be very much appreciated

Request: Minimal “Connected” View for Android App
It would be helpful if the Proton VPN Android app offered an option to hide data (MB) usage while connected and instead showed only “Connected” with the selected VPN location in the background.

Launch Linux GUI app on boot
I saw a completed post asking the Linux app on boot, but I guess it is not the GUI version, or perhaps not the one for Fedora.
For me on Fedora with the GUI version I have to manually launch Proton VPN every time.
By manually launching Proton VPN:
1 - The system remains unprotected for a certain time;
2 - Creates a needless ritual for every session;
3 - Nullifies the purpose of the kill switch.~/.config/autostart/ , Startup applications or GNOME extensions does not work because the GUI fails to connect during login. Only the kill switch starts…

Add a timer to do automatic release and re-connect (adding reconnect to lowest # connections server in group)
I find, on the Mac at least, that my VPN connection will become saturated and will fail after a while. I can solve this by disconnecting and then reconnecting. This seems to flush the tcp/ip stack and allows for network traffic to begin again. I then see qBitorrent is transferring on multiple connections again. Sometimes I need to restart qBitorrent as well, but not nearly as often. I don't know if this is a bug in the tcp/ip stack or how Mac handles the traffic on an OS level. It may also be from the saturation in the network stack…

BPay for ProtonVPN subscription payments.
So far as I can see, it's not possible to pay for a new or existing ProtonVPN subscription via BPay. This is somewhat limiting/inconvenient for those of us who don't shop online, have credit cards, or otherwise prefer to have as few bank cards/accounts as we can reasonably get away with. BPay offers a secure and convenient means to pay for services without needing a seperate card that, in some cases, will never be used for anything but those payments (ranging from once a month to once every two years).
To my knowledge, there are no disadvantages nor other reasons…

Import/Export configuration
As time goes by and new profiles, split tunnelings... are being added, if I have to change my mobile/desktop/laptop or I buy a new device, I will have to check everything in order to replicate the configuration in the device, and apply the configuration manually. Or even worse: if one of the devices dies, I will lose the configuration.
Hence, it would be good to have the option to export & import configuration files.6 votes -
Linux CLI connection status
I use the ProtonVPN CLI on my Ubuntu MATE system. (I don't use the GUI app because I do not use Gnome.)
It works well and I'm happy with it, but after I enter
protonvpn connectand it exits successfully with news of an established connection, I don't know much of anything about the connection itself.According to the CLI
--helpargument the available commands are: ('signin', 'signout', 'info', 'connect', 'disconnect').I would like to suggest adding a command to this list, "status". That is,
protonvpn status. This command would show whether the VPN connection is established or not,…

Search for VPN server
I'd like the ability to quickly type and search for VPN servers/countries, on both iOS and Mac. Surfshark does this and it's such a friendly way to quickly switch to different countries based on my needs. on protonvpn, I have to scroll and search for the flag/abbreviation of the country, which is not a great UX

Announcement of DNS Filterlists or further Insight into NetShield
It is hard to decide wether to choose Proton VPN with Netshield or a custom DNS Server to avoid beeing tracked by Android App Trackers and App Analysis Tools. This is because Proton gives little information about what connections are being blocked by NetShield. It would be very very helpful to know which common IPs or Tracking Providers are being blocked. That would prevent Users from having to make decisions by gut feeling. It would also bring more Users who are not as tech savvy as others and who want a whole in one solution. Other DNS Server Providers like…

iOS Dynamic Island VPN Indicator
On the iPhone Dynamic Island at the top of the screen, it would be useful for proton vpn to utilize this space that Apple allows devs to use for indicators such as showing that the vpn status if connected or not.
Currently you have to swipe down to see if the vpn is active or if you go into the app to check.
Other apps including other vpns use this Dynamic Island as an indicator for a quick glance/stuatus.
