  1. Improve VPN on Apple devices

    Currently, ProtonVPN works fine on Windows and probably others, but on Apple devices, the VPN has issues connecting and mostly simply refuses. I am in a heavily censored environment, which is likely the issue, but it works fine on windows. Maybe implement windows connection technologies on Apple devices?

  3. Select country on free plan

    I want to be able to select the country at least, I don't care if I cant choose the server or not, but its annoying having to connect to a place on the other side of the world. I most likely will stop using this VPN if this is not added back.

    With the free plan changes made at the end of 2023, we aim to provide optimal speeds and latency to everyone using our free, unlimited, ad-free VPN. Although you can't select a specific server, you can change the server that was initially assigned to you.

  5. More features and a better UI for the Fire TV / Android TV app

    Hi, I find that the Fire TV / Android TV app is lucking in features, especially compared to the other apps. I'd like to have the following integrated:

    1) A kill switch that, of course, works in conjunction with the split tunneling option. To me this is a bare bone feature for a serious VPN.

    2) A connection time indicator and a download / upload traffic counter. Not a global one, but referred to the currently connected server.

    3) Ping displayed for all the servers.

    4) A general UI refresh, because the present one looks very outdated and it's also…

  6. Buggy

    I've been trying to use ProtonVPN for a while, and the experience hasn't been good. For example, the kill switch doesn't work reliably (internet usually worked while ProtonVPN was not active), and lately also the internet doesn't work at all when the VPN is active (can't load any site). I'm not trying any exotic locations or sites or anything. Quitting the VPN brings internet back to normal. If I activate a different VPN client, using the same country, everything still works. Back to Proton, internet stops working again.

  7. Un mot de pass par application Proton

    Pour des raisons de sécurité je n'aime pas avoir le même mot de passe pour les différentes applications Proton, notamment VNP et Pass. Serait il possible que ces 2 appli n'aient pas le même mot de passe que celui du compte proton mail , drive ou calendar ?

  11. The VPN for the Apple box works fine, but..

    For Example, as of today Wed 29 2025. Trying to use the VPN here in the US, will connect to TVP Poland with The picture coming in perfectly. But as far as the Apple Box, you get ZERO audio on any of the live programming. This the VPN doesn't seem to affect using it on any of my other Apple products ie:Ipad, iPhone or my iOS. Any reason why and will/can it be fixed for the Apple box on my BIG SCREEN Sony Bravia?

  12. Modern GUI redesign / refresh for Proton VPN Linux app

    First of all, thank you for the official Linux GUI app and for the constant updates (especially recent CLI improvements and new features being added to GTK app).
    I’m a happy Proton user using your Linux app daily on Artix. The app is stable and the core functionality works great, but visually and UX-wise it still feels quite outdated compared to the beautiful, modern interfaces you have on Windows, macOS, iOS and Android.
    Many Linux users (including me) would really appreciate a proper GUI refresh / redesign to bring the Linux client closer in look & feel to the other…

    I don't know where the problem lies, whether it's a bug in the Chrome browser or whether my efforts are futile, but what is certain is that given the circumstances in Iran, I want to emphasize once again that the attention of every free-thinking person who believes in freedom of expression cannot be indifferent. It should be suspected. Now I'm connected to another VPN, which is unstable and has other problems. Thank you.

    I think you should add saved passwords or smth cuz I used the suggested one and I cant put it in the app.

  16. Update extension UI

    The extension UI seems to be working with the OG UI, it would be nice to have it updated to a more recent version with new features such as split tunneling being an inclusion list rather than exclusion so I have specific websites (like social media) where I want my vpn on and others I want it off.

  20. Windows App Icon Not Showing When Active Since New Update

    The tray icon on Windows shows a green lock now, but the program itself doesn't on the Taskbar, which was something I looked at the most. Now, I have no idea if my VPN is active without opening the program or navigating to see the tray icon. Please fix.
