Auto ReConnect Feature for VPN.
A auto reconnect feature is needed as when the VPN gets disconnected for some reason Time Out etc. it does not reconnect automatically, it has to be done manually so this is a problem if you are away from your pc or you dont notice it.

I have an issue with our ISP where we get frequent packet loss and occasional disconnects. While I understand this is not Proton's fault, I would notice it a lot less if it automatically reconnected me after a few seconds of not detecting a connection. After all, the issue temporarily resolves when I manually reconnect to Proton VPN.

+1 its very annoying as you just dont know if you have internet connection or not and need manual to check the VPN status each time. Goes potentially together with profiles where to select profile when moving from wifi to mobile data.

Could we also choose, in the app, to have it disconnect for a specific amount of time and then reconnect automatically.

Happen every day when I walk outside and the internet shifts from WiFi to T-mobile. I understand the reconnect issue partly depends on iOs, but a heartbeat timer that detects the internet is unreachable and restarts the connection would be VERY helpful! Sometimes if have to restart Proton to force the reconnect.
