show the connected server on the tray if it is one of the pinned ones.
If the VPN is connected to a pinned tray connection, reflect it on the tray dropdown window with a mark next to the connected server (Linux client).

Automatic login on the ProtonVPN Linux client
Currently, the ProntonVPN Linux client requires manual login each time. This is really tedious, particularly if the password is very complex. It would be much better if it were possible to log in automatically. This, in particular, is a requirement for automatically starting the VPN client after each reboot.

Multiple WG Clients on One Router
Hello ProtonVPN Support,
I am running ProtonVPN on an ASUS RT-AX86U router using Asuswrt-Merlin firmware. I would like to run multiple ProtonVPN WireGuard client profiles simultaneously and route different LAN clients through different ProtonVPN exits using Merlin’s VPN Director policy-routing feature.
The problem is that all of the ProtonVPN WireGuard configuration files generated for my account appear to use the same tunnel-side addresses:
Interface Address:
10.2.0.2/32DNS:
10.2.0.1When I enable multiple ProtonVPN WireGuard clients at the same time on the router, all clients show successful handshakes, but traffic does not route correctly. The router’s route tables end up associating…

Block App Snooping
Implement a feature that prevents an app from accessing other apps. For example, Google and Facebook apps both keep tabs on what is going on in other apps. Duckduckgo has a VPN that disallows any app from accessing any other app, blocking thousands of attempts per hour.

kill switch on the browser extensions
There should be a kill switch function on the browser extension (in my case its Firefox). NordVPN and other competitors have this ability. It's the only thing preventing me from buying a full subscription.
It's especially important on MacOS where Proton themselves recommend to use browser extensions instead of the desktop app for split tunnelling due to Apple's webkit based apps messing with it. ( https://protonvpn.com/support/protonvpn-split-tunneling#macos )

Add Meta Quest support
I notice you have Proton Pass on Quest, but I've also seen Nord & Express VPN on the store. Proton VPN is my VPN of choice so it would be nice to see it there (or even a VR app on Steam for the future Steam Frame!)

Add smart / rule-based split tunneling (auto GeoIP routing)
Please add automatic, rule-based split tunneling to the desktop apps:
Local-country traffic → direct, everything else → VPN, decided automatically by a built-in GeoIP / domain ruleset (no manual lists).
Add an "Include only" mode on macOS (currently Exclude-only).
Support domain-based split tunneling in the desktop client, not just the browser extension.
I live in a restricted-network region where local banking/payment services block foreign IPs, while international services need the VPN. Without auto routing, I must either tunnel everything or maintain endless manual lists. This feature would keep power users inside Proton instead of switching to Clash/Surge.1 vote -
Please make the Proton VPN macOS app have a dark mode icon option.
Just make it so the background is the same dark gradient as every other macOS app; that way it won't stick out in the dock.

Exclude networks
I am surprised that it isn't possible to exclude networks like my mobile provider and my home wifi in order to save battery power.

Onion Service for protonvpn.com
Please add a Tor Onion Service for protonvpn.com
Proton currently already has an Onion Service for the main site:
However, there is no Onion Service for the vpn site:
Please create an Onion Service for the protonvpn.com site.
I recommend doing this by a subdomain of the existing Onion Service, for example:
After the Onion Service is available, please also update the 'onion-location` header, so that Tor Browser automatically notifies visitors of protonvpn.com that there is a more secure Onion Service available

ProtonVPN for OpenSUSE
Flatpak sand-boxing makes a fully functioning VPN client difficult. While I still think it's a good option to push the VPN client to more Linux distros, if that isn't an option, I'd like to see an OpenSUSE supported VPN client.

Auto reconnect to the same server feature after device reboot
Actually using Proton VPN on an Android TV box where the Proton VPN features are very limited.
I usually turn off completely (not standby) my device when not using it and when I turn it back on I always find the VPN disconnected. A feature where the VPN would automatically reconnect to the last used server would be much appreciated and make the user experience smooth. Thanks in advance.

Nevada
Please add servers back to Las Vegas. It was a huge reason why I chose proton back in 2021. Im from Nevada but work out of the state which causes all sorts of issues when browsing or trying to log into financial institutions.

per app network traffic view like in Windows Task Manager
The Task Manager in Windows shows a live per app view of network data traffic. When using Proton VPN, all network activity is aggregated and listed as data traffic from Proton VPN.
It would be nice if you could see the per app usage in the Proton VPN app.
When the current download or upload traffic is uncommonly high, I would usually check which app is responsible, perhaps you might want to stop the process. Currently, you have to guess what causes the traffic.

proton VPN for Apple TV
I want to have favorite countries when I am using Proton VPN for Apple TV. I don't want to have to scroll all the way down to the country server I always use. Please can you make Recommended into Favorites?
