Proton Docs / collaboration suite
(folders and docs similar to GoogleDocs)
Proton mail needs some collaborative word processor and spreadsheet in a drive where people can securely work on it but only the person who owns the files can keep them and no one can download them or copy them.
Proton now has Docs:
https://proton.me/drive/docs
And Sheets:

This is exactly what I want. I have weened myself off of Google except Google Drive because it's so dang handy. I'm totally enjoying Protonmail and Proton VPN and would pay good money to have Proton Drive!!!

I like the idea but I shudder to imagine the cost, which I regard as the biggest failing of the mail service. I've been a member since early September 2017 and now in early November 2017 I am already at 266MB of 5GB.

Technically the final goal of the ProtonMail campaign on Indiegogo was make an Encripted File Storage

I concur: even tough solutions exist, nothing has fully convinced me yet: flexibility, ease of use, reasonable pricing... provided the cost is reasonable and the storage space substantial, I would become a paid user immediately: I need something for my small business.
Any update on the project: is it still "planned"? If yes, any idea of a "when"? or has it been dropped?

Encrypted storage for Dokuments, like syncing a Keepass file would make Protonmail awesome as a security service

Good idea. Would like the ability to click on a file and know how many cities it's copied in. (This is the weakest point of all your competition. They pretty much don't tell you.) And then click another button to return the hash on each of those copies. Perhaps the ability to verify all data once per day or once per week would also help. Of course it would all be encrypted before upload, too. (Oh, and beware that file sizes can sometimes imply content, so you might have to randomize that somewhat prior to upload. Uploading the same file twice in a row should create different amounts of traffic and completely different data payloads.) Also, there should be a one-time paid "insurance" option to force the data into readonly mode if for any reason your payment method fails. Google does this for free. Others just delete everything after a few months.

If I could store ideally 500GB - 1TB of files which I can share with others securely, (or even 50GB!) I would take up a visionary contract tomorrow and stop using G Suite. Please do this :)

I would love for this to happen. I have been looking to get rid of G Suite for some time, but I collaborate with music producers across the world, and we share our music productions via folders in a G Suite Drive.
These are solely our own productions but it means we can collaborate across large distances.
If say 500GB-1TB was available for visionary contracts, I would happily take that up now and transfer over from G Suite straight away.

Create an enrypted cloudstoragespace for protonmail users to save their files and other valuable data. You could co-operate with envaultcorp

People use Google drive, Dropbox or other cloud services to store their data. It would be great to have ProtonMail not only for mail but also for storing data safely in the cloud. I don't see the difference between regular files and emails so for me and lots of people/companies it would make sense to have both under the same umbrella
