Synology support
Hi!
I have a Synology NAS that can back up to off-site storage. While there are plenty of off-site solutions from Amazon, Google, etc., having it tied to an encrypted service like ProtonDrive would be great!

Yes, yes, yes! Very much needed.

Me es indispensable sincronizar Proton con HBS de Qnap o una aplicación propia para ese sistema.

Totally Agree.

I am also looking for this feature so that I can have a cloud based backup of my important documents on Proton Drive.

This would be huge for me if we could have this feature. I would love to have an encrypted off-site backup for my synology NAS. Would really like to have native backup within Hyperbackup but even if we could sync a network folder that would be better than nothing.

Should Proton make an API to allow for Synology NAS (hyper)backup to Proton Drive?
If so, let's vote up this more popular request to clarify the demand https://protonmail.uservoice.com/forums/932839-proton-drive/suggestions/43582125-protondrive-api
Secure backups to ProtonDrive via Synology Hyper Backup would be great! It would help justifying the cost of the proton subscription.

The decision to remove the ability to sync network drives due to "security" without implementing an alternative method of syncing those files is very unfortunate.
I am now without a good way of keeping my most important files backed up. Please consider building a Proton Drive client for network attached storage as soon as possible.

This is one of the most important features for me. Could you please consider adding sync for network drives as faster workaround until the big implemention is done

Bonjour je souhaite migré sur proton drive , il ne me manque plus que l'intégration sur Synology et c'est OK .

I agree! You can also post simple instructions to set up a backup with rsync or any other application from linux command line! I will then switch to Proton Drive

Using Proton drive with Hybrid Backup Sync sounds like a must have. There are a lot of cloud providers in the Synology app, but sadly no way to use Proton Drive from synology, since there is no linux client neither.

It will be very good to be able to backup Synology Nas to Proton Drive

I'd like to be able to Cloud Drive Mount my Proton Drive from my QNAP NAS so I can set up a Hybrid Backup Sync to cloud backup my local files to Proton Drive. I can see about 20 other cloud services but Proton Drive is not one of them.

I would get the Family Plan if you guys work with Synology to:
- add Proton Drive as service in Synology Hyper Backup
or / and
- add Proton Drive as service in the Synology Cloud Sync -

I would like to see this as well, i know we are still in the early stages of space expansion for personal use but this would be great to be able to do!

Since the OP mentioned “back up”, I think the idea is to be able to use with HyperBackup as a remote storage service like Amazon S3 (not with CloudSync as others have mentioned), which is exactly what I’m looking for.

Please add Proton Drive to the long list of service providers in the Synology Cloud Sync app.
