I agree with Rebecca, and will go back to Google Calendar until this is fixed.

Would be great because email is an unnecessary distraction or detour if you only want to go to the calendar.

I agree with Blah, tasks and Calendar Events serve two different purposes.
Proton Tasks with ToDoist functionality would add major value to the proton suite. Task databases are equally if not more important than calendars for privacy and security.
Competing with ToDoist is quite a challenge though, but seeing Proton Pass develop, I believe it is possible.

Should Proton make an API to allow for Synology NAS (hyper)backup to Proton Drive?
If so, let's vote up this more popular request to clarify the demand https://protonmail.uservoice.com/forums/932839-proton-drive/suggestions/43582125-protondrive-api
Secure backups to ProtonDrive via Synology Hyper Backup would be great! It would help justifying the cost of the proton subscription.

I like to (re)schedule while traveling. But with limited internet connection, I had to try save an event multiple times and it became clear that Proton Calendar is just not ready for daily use yet, unfortunately.
