Proton Automatic Secure Backup for local PC
I currently use Google to back up my local PC files, and have found it both convenient and very reliable, but because I am aware of the privacy issues, I first I use a product called BoxCryptor to encrypt the files before they are handed off to Google. This has worked well, balances the convenance of cloud backup with data security. But BoxCytptor has been acquired by another company, and so now I’m going to have to locate an alternative solution. I would prefer to simply back up my data directly to my Proton drive and call it a day and say good by to my friends at Google.
Is there any chance that Proton might be creating a backup product to join it’s family of data privacy products to permit customers to securely back their local data to their secure proton drive automatically?

-To ensure protection of local copy of Proton Drive files, they must be encrypted when stored on local system, and decrypted on the fly only when proton drive application is running & user authenticated. Like Boxcryptor is doing...
-I'm scared y having some-else accessing to the proton drive folder local folder on the computer disk and having access to my my files in clear...
-Also it should work when computer is offline -
