dark mode to proton Dock is very important

I agree with the title of the post, but I think a better way to implement it would be to allow us to apply the current selection of themes to Proton Docs/Drive.

Every time I open Proton Docs my retinas get melted. Dark mode would be greatly appreciated!

Proton Doc is very bright, which can really strain the eyes. A couple of darker themes would be great and can't be that difficult to implement. Especially considering that Proton in general already has day and night themes.

proton drive will be only a second-tier storage for rarely used things unless there is dark mode for docs. using only dark mode in the 2 hours before bed gives me better sleep. unfortunately, looking at a white screen for as little as 10 minutes already kills this effect in me

With Proton Docs Dark Mode, we wouldn't destroy our eyes while writing important things down.

EYE FATIGUE is a BIG factor ESPECIALLY for DOC WRITER.

Essential for me, due to eyesight issues...
In the process of migrating from Apple and Outlook, and this lack of what is the norm elsewhere, is a concern. Is it a hangover from the Standardnotes collaboration? Have we had feedback from the Drive team?

The fact that Docs doesn't match the rest of the theming has made it effectively unusable for me. And not just the UI: I currently use an extension for Google docs whose sole purpose is to make the page itself dark as well. Having that same functionality built into Proton Docs would mean instant switch.

Imagine a world where you are looking comfortably at a nice dark, easy-on-the-eyes screen for hours and you pop open Proton Docs and your retinas are instantly scorched by the blinding white screen as if you're a certain president staring directly into the sun.

That is my and my wife's experience with Proton Docs.

This would mean so much to me. Would definitively pull me off google docs to have a native dark mode.

Yeah, it's weird this isn't already a thing. I'm kind of assuming that this was just not implemented on rollout but is a planned feature?

Please, add this. It's odd to me that you have dark mode across all your other apps, but not for docs.
