A Proton Drive that actually works
I would like a Proton Drive that actually works on Windows 11.
Issues with current Proton Drive:
-It takes a week to synchronize 1 TB of data, this is absolutely unacceptable. Why is it not able to fully utilize my available internet bandwidth/speed or hard drive speed? Why can't it sync multiple files at a time until these limits are met? It's often faster to simply download the file from the website, but even then, it appears downloads of larger (~100gb) files get throttled or fail entirely.
-Proton Drive says "synced" and doesn't display any additional data while it is synchronizing data in the background. This makes it very confusing and difficult to determine what files/folders are actually synced. I need to go into each and every folder and manually check to see if my files are synced.
-I store my Proton Drive data on a secondary NVME, yet every time I reinstall windows there's no option to resync the data even if I've taken ownership of it in Windows, so I must then delete the entire folder, and resync TB's of data again which, as mentioned above, takes an entire week to do so.
-Unnecessarily large memory footprint. Currently my Proton Drive is using 1.5 GB of memory.
