Proton Slides.
Some sort of presentation/slides app
As mentioned in the previous update on this feature, it is now being edited to be a request for slides.
Please feel free to undo your vote if this is not something you want included in Proton Drive.

Most of my work could be moved over to Proton sheets, with the option to export to Microsoft excel supported file so I can send it over to business who depend on Microsoft.

Many years ago, in the early days of online services, there was a set of applications ( calendar, spreadsheets, etc, all the google stuff) that you could run in your browser and they used storage provider of choice with it. If they are still around people could use that stuff with Proton Drive.

The only thing keeping my Google account alive at this point. Hoping to see this soon, and I think we will.

Spreadsheets with modern capabilities, I think it's important to point this out.
It would be of no use to me if the implemented sheet service is just something like SUM and INDEX/MATCH, when even LibreOffice has recently implemented some of Office 365/Google Sheet's functions: XLOOKUP, SEQUENCE, XMATCH, and so on.

I am new to Proton so forgive me. Am I correct in saying that I cannot access or edit my Microsoft Excel sheets stored on my Proton Drive from my Android phone, without having to download, edit and then upload again. If so this is not what they advertise on the website.

This is the last reason I'm still using google drive. Also, I believe that a large numbers of researchers I know are using Google Slides as well (because they can access their presentations on pretty much any machine with a decent browser, which is a critical feature when presenting abroad, etc).

I'm sure this is on the docket, this is a MUST for me. Google Sheets is the only Google office product I use cause it just can't be beat.

Pasting previous comment from a similar post:
This is critical to me, and probably to many other users, as we have our small business data on Google Sheets, and what's stopping me from fully moving over.
If there would be a privacy-oriented spreadsheet app that has the mentioned features, I could get multiple organizations to jump on the whole Proton suite as enterprise customers.

I won't be able to convince my friends to ditch google collaborative editing without a, even somewhat basic, replacement for Google Sheet, it would be truly amazing to get that!

Proton Docs should just be one product with the ability to open any MS office document and LibreOffice document.

And please add an API too - I would love to use a microcontroller for measurements and send it to Proton Sheet. Currently I need to use Google Spreadsheets for this.

I think spreadsheets are available in Standard Note which is part of Proton world now. Maybe it'll be integrated in Drive later.

As a business user sheet would be a very nice feature to switch away from google.

Yes, spreadsheets would be tremendously useful, and would entice me away from Google Drive altogether, I think. (I bet it's on the cards.....) 🙏
