Basic Highlighting!
The highlighting feature as-is is very limited: why can't I just choose the background color and the text color separately? I would literally like to "highlight" a section of text in yellow, and I can't just pick black text with yellow background. Please allow more basic options or basic flexibility, instead of only a certain pre-built text / color combinations. Thanks!

Agree. this is THE most common highlighting use case and that we cannot do this simple use case AT ALL right now drives me to use a different document system. The options you ave now make the text very hard to read. Also DO NOT force us to select text color and background color for such a basic use case. NO other document system does this. Allow the option if someone want to change those but make the common use case super simple.- one click. I spend much time highlighting.

I would like more choices of colors for highlighting in Docs. The basics are pretty uggly and, for now, the only way to use others is to import a google doc and copy/paste words that use a different highlighting from here. Those colors are already reconized by proton so we just need an option to personalise the access bar or just more colors in that menu.
