Proton Docs: Tables- Adding "Combine / Merge cells" & "Delete cell(s)"
[Request for Proton Docs: Tables]
Could you guys consider adding the ability to "combine cells / merge cells" & "delete cell(s)" for Tables in Proton Documents?
This feature would be extremely helpful for:
I. Notetaking- creating more customizable & legible tables that can quickly & easily be referenced again in the future.
II. I ask Lumo a lot of "How-to" questions & found that pasting Lumo's responses directly into Proton Docs works well bc the text copy-pastes over pretty close to its source-formatting.
To create a Header Row with only one Column Header cell intact (eg, In a 3-column table, keeping the leftmost Column Header cell intact & deleting the center & rightmost Column Header cells).
III. To create one merged row of cells (eg, in the 4th row of a 3-column table with 10 rows).
IV. To merge/combine two adjacent row cells together for simplification to make it easier to reference the table data in the future.
I appreciate your time and consideration. Thank you!
And, Happy New Year, Proton! =)

IV I would like to have a merge column / row option to basically merge adjacent cells by clicking merge cells. Please implement it.
