Currently, files on Proton Drive are synced with those on a computer or mobile device. If deleted from the device, they also disappear from Proton Drive. It would be beneficial to have files stored only on Proton Drive. This could be achieved in one or both of two ways: 1) allow manual creation of cloud folders on Proton Drive that do not sync with connected devices, enabling manual addition of files and subfolders; or 2) enable users to turn off syncing for files or folders uploaded via syncing, thus disconnecting them from their original local files, allowing local deletions without affecting the cloud versions.
