Proposed functionality :
When a user right-clicks inside a folder in Windows File Explorer, they should have the option :

New → Proton Doc
New → Proton Sheet

This action would :

Instantly create a new document linked to the user’s Proton account or open a new document in the browser/app while associating it with that location conceptually.

Streamlining the workflow by reducing friction when creating new documents would make document creation faster and more intuitive. Aligning the Proton ecosystem with standard operating system usability patterns would improve consistency and lower the learning curve for users. This would also facilitate adoption among users transitioning from traditional office suites, as the interaction model would feel familiar. Finally, minimizing context switching between File Explorer, the browser, and Proton Drive would enhance overall productivity.
