The names of files and folders presented in grid layout often are truncated and users are unable to see the full name of the file. This is generally solved by switching to list view, but when list view is no longer necessary to view the names of the items, the user would have to switch back to grid view.

Create a keyboard shortcut, for example Ctrl/Cmd + Shift + L or something equally intuitive, to toggle between these two layouts.

There is also room for creating additional shortcuts for a better UX. For example, typing directly to the Search drive text field could be accomplished using Ctrl/Cmd + Shift + F.
