Add headers and footers to Proton Docs
Proton Docs should support headers and footers.
Users should be able to add content such as names, document titles, dates, page numbers, and other information that appears consistently at the top or bottom of each page.
Headers and footers are basic requirements for academic papers, reports, resumes, business documents, and other print-oriented documents.

Add page size options to Proton Docs
Proton Docs should support standard page sizes such as A4, US Letter, Legal, and other common formats.
When importing documents from Google Docs, especially resumes and academic documents, the layout can change significantly because there is no way to define the intended page size.
Being able to select a page size is essential for documents that are meant to be printed, exported to PDF, or kept to a specific number of pages.

Speed up search indexing in Drive on Linux Mozilla
I have been trying for 1 month to have my search feature in the web interface of drive index my files. This so they will be searchable. There are over 170K files there. The first 100K seem to be done is a jiffy, but after that it is like 1000 files every 10 minutes. My laptop is never connected to the internet for more as 3 or 4 hours and the index seems to crash after several disconnects. So after a month of trying I still have not been able to get a searchable index. Isn't it possible to speed…

Saving search index
I know files and photos indexing may be technically difficult because everything is encrypted, but at least it should be optional to create and persist and index to not wait every time to reconstitutes it, when it's needed to search for files and photos. This index may be incrementally updated at the next access.
It should also be useful to have an index updated in background, maybe by the mobile or desktop apps.14 votes -

Option to prevent download for files shared in proton drive
I would love an option to prevent someone from downloading a file that I’ve shared with them in Drive. For example, a video id like someone to be able to view, but not download.

Format currency cells according to the currency symbol entered
If I enter "£3.00" in a cell, Proton Sheets will turn it into $3. It changes the currency but also removes the decimal places I entered. This feels kind of broken. I don't see how or why this would be expected or acceptable behaviour.

Create share link for folders & files from within the desktop app
Currently, to create a share link you have to visit drive via web browser to create a shareable link. It would be great if this feature was available either on the desktop app, or in the right-click dropdown menu like dropbox provides.

Allow syncing to same folder location for multiple windows/macOs/linux user accounts
I am working with two different user accounts on my windows machine. One for work, one for personal stuff. I want to use the Proton Drive for both accounts. Unfortunately when I tried to set up Proton Drive on the second account to sync with the same folder I got an error message instead:
"Invalid sync folder: The folder must be empty before setting up sync"It wouldn't make any sense to choose a different folder and have everything twice on my computer

Proton Docs - Auto shift-enter on new line
It would just be nice to not have the doc add all the extra space when I press enter. I'd much rather press enter twice if I want that. This currently genuinely doesn't feel good to use.

On Proton Sheets, sort needs to ignore header rows
I'm trying to import sheets from elsewhere to move to Proton but it appears that "sort column" doesn't ignore the frozen header rows, resulting in formula damage when resorting.

folder size information! this should be a no brainer.
I really like proton, but I will not be resubscribing if this isn't fixed. it is the the only way to double check that the upload succeeded or how we could free up some space

Beim Import einer XLSX-Datei nach Proton Sheets werden Zellinhalte mit internen Zeilenumbrüchen fehlerhaft dargestellt: Statt eines echten Zeilenumbruchs erscheint der rohe XML-Zeichencode " " als sichtbarer Text in der Zelle, teilweise auch " " für Tabulatoren. Das macht importierte Tabellen mit mehrzeiligen Zellinhalten (z.B. Vergleichstabellen mit Fliesstext pro Zelle) unbrauchbar, ohne die Codes manuell zu entfernen.
Erwartetes Verhalten: Die XML-Zeichencodes sollten beim Import korrekt in echte Zeilenumbrüche/Tabs innerhalb der Zelle umgewandelt werden, wie es Excel/Google Sheets/OnlyOffice tun.

make cli option --conflict-strategy skip allow incremental uploads to existing subdirectories
When using the Proton Drive CLI to sync a local folder to Drive, the --conflict-strategy skip flag appears to skip entire directories that already exist on the remote side, without inspecting their contents for new or modified files.
This makes incremental syncing impractical. In a typical workflow — for example, backing up a Documents folder after a day of work — new files are often created in various subdirectories. With the current behavior, the user would need to manually identify every subdirectory that already exists on Drive and target those individually, which defeats the purpose of a CLI backup command.

Proton Sheets - edit chart axis range
In Proton sheets, when I make a chart out of my data, the Y-axis always starts from 0. However, if all my values are in the thousands, this is unnecessary and hides the differences between my values, as they all look similar in this zoomed-out view. So, I would like to edit the range of the chart axes by setting min and max values to my liking.

I would like that it is possible to arrange photo-albums i have imported in Protondrive in sequence of the year they are from, for example at the top the album of 2012 then 2013 etc.

Photos backup progress bar needs to show more information and allow me to pause/restart backup process
It would be benefitial for troubleshooting and reassuring user how things got to make that backup progress bar show more information such as what file is being processed currently and what is being done (currently it just shows dummy labels like backing up and encrypting..) as it sometimes gets stuck and i dont even know what file caused it..
Ultimate upgrade would make that progress bar clickable and display full queee of the photos/videos that are being processed with their status also the upload progress in term of megabites uploaded for larger files..2 votes -
Android Photos settings: list of folders needs to show more information about folders
Im struggling to find specific folders on my phone as app curently shows just that specific folder name and i often need information such as if the folder is on internal memory or SD card as well as seeing at least parent folder of the suggested folder in the list.. as folders sometimes can have quite generic nemes and two folders can have same name and without seeing their parent directory I'm kind of lost..
