restore multiple deleted files and folders
I would like restore many (deleted and non deleted) files and folders spanning multiple locations, all at once.
For example, this applies in cases where multiple files and folders on a PC have been infected by, say, a virus, and the files in the cloud have also become infected following synchronisation. Entire folders must be restored to a previous version to ensure that the files can be restored to an uninfected state.
Manually restoring files one by one to a previous version isn’t really an option; you’d want to do this for a specific folder, including any subfolders within it.3 votes -

I've fully migrated to Proton Drive as my dedicated cloud storage system. I know this feature doesn't necessary exist in other platforms, so it may give Proton Drive an exclusive feature.
Description: File extension-based exception. Similar to the (.gitignore) a file will contain any exception to a particular file extension, not folder; it wouldn't make sense having a folder in a cloud you want to ignore. Using this file, the system ignores or removes all files with a specific extension.

I would like to quickly delete photos on proton drive when I click on a picture
Currently I need to tab out of the image and then select it and delete it.I want to delete pictures faster by pressing 'Del' on my keyboard or having a trash icon at the top right in my browser

Drive basic features
Some of the most basic features:
Favorites/Starred folders. When you have a large directory structure you don't want to navigate manually each time with 20 clicks, add a star or favorite option
After you navigate to a folder deep down and then you use the search function, if you clear the search it then resets you back to the root of the drive, very annoying.
Teammates that have files shared cannot search them, impossible to work in a team without this

For business users, it would be great to have the option to brand the sharable links in Proton Drive with their own logo.

Ability to set default saved file location for docs and sheets
It would be cool to be able to set the default save file location for documents and sheets.
Currently, the default location is the catch-all "My Files". But this ends up feeling cluttered because this contains my folders as well as every document or spreadsheet I've created.
I know I can go back and constantly clean up My Files by moving all of these documents into a folder (for example, I created a folder called "spreadsheets"), but it would be nice to not have to retroactively do this all the time. Thanks.

Need the ability to add comments to photos in shared albums
I am using Google Photos to share family albums and I am trying to determine if I can replace Google Photos with Proton Drive (I am a Proton Duo user). One very useful feature for the users I am sharing the albums with is the ability to add comments. In fact, this would be a show-stopper if it is not possible. The reason is that some of the photos are pretty old (scans of standard prints) and lack details. Selecting which cloud-based directories or folders to sync to your local device
This feature allows you to select which cloud-based directories to sync to your local device. This is great for shared/office devices, as it allows you to only access specific cloud-based folders on your local device. This prevents someone from seeing the entire contents of a cloud-based directory or folder (OneDrive has this feature).

Simple Text only Google Keep Replacement
I'm looking for a simple, note-taking app to replace Google Keep, ideally with a similar interface. I don't need advanced features like tags initially, just basic note creation and ordering. However, archiving and export functionality would be valuable additions. It could start as text-only.

When I paste text into Docs, all the line breaks are doubled, creating lots of extra white space that has to be manually removed.

Separation of pictures, docs, files and sheets via folder options
You data is encrypted on the device... so now let us decryp everything on the phone, or virtual machine or otherwise....
Point being: option per device to allow or NOT of what to even be loaded. It's not even "to be access" but "it never even shows".
This is very usefull if we want want max control, and max privacy. As in for phone? we can have our proton drive open, unlocked, and if we show someone some pictures from there, they simple can't access, not even realise, that other parts even exist.

Proton Drive integration with Ubiquiti Protect Off Site-Archiving
Ubiquiti allows on their Unifi Dream Router 7 and other devices, to use cloud services to upload footage for off-site archiving. I'd like to see Proton integrate with this option for automated secure storage of these files for archive.

Proton drive plans of 50gb cloud storage
Hello Team, i like the need of minimum plan of 50gb for proton drive and 5gb of mail and name as Proton Basic of 50gb. Named after free plan that this plan like starting plan of proton basic and then proton drive plus of 200gb,500gb,1tb for following its my suggestion free and then straight to 200gb its too high for the new customers. Its my suggestion for basic 50gb plan.

Better way for bulk uploading/downloading
It is currently very challenging to upload large amounts of data into Proton Drive. I have some data that I want to back up into the cloud, which currently sits on an external drive. The Proton Drive desktop app will not accept the folders on the external drive for backup (presumably because it is not an internal drive), and uploading via the web interface is extremely unreliable unless you manually do it in small chunks, which is tedious.
Would it be possible to add a function to the desktop app to copy large amounts of data into Proton Drive or…
