As a Linux user, the fact that you can't really use Proton Drive because of a missing real-time synchronization client is a disgrace and a scandal! And reading the comments, I discover that Linux users have been waiting for this for 4 years!

I don't understand why this is not a thing yet. You don't even have to provide a client yourself; just stabilize and document the API so we can have a proper rclone client.

With MS becoming increasingly hostile to user/data privacy, I would very much like to ditch Win11 and use something like OpenSUSE as a daily driver for my home PC. Having a native Linux app for Proton Drive would make that switch possible, since it's currently the only cloud-based storage solution I use.

It is really annoying not to have Sync on Linux.

I plan to self host a Nextcloud instance to move away from Google Drive, Photos and Microsoft OneDrive with a VPS for backup, I wish Proton would be compatible with Linux since it would be easier and more convenient.

Please prioritize a Linux client for Proton Drive. It's the only thing left for me to call this service perfect for my needs

I fully endorse what @Joshua just said. I keep looking almost every day for feedback by Proton about this request, but nothing to be found.

It would be really great to get an update on the status of a linux client. I've been paying for quite some time (partially on the premise that eventually a client would be available). Still, about two years since this idea was put up and there's nothing for me to use. It's disappointing that Linux users are treated as an afterthought.

Without a Linux client, Proton Drive is basically useless to me

Am in the process of moving away from all services provided by Apple/Microsoft which means running Linux as my OS.
Not having a Proton drive app for Linux is really hindering my work processes.
It's the only thing stopping me from fully committing to the entire Proton suite of services.
Please can this be prioritized?

Please... unlimited user here. I would use proton drive if they had this. I'm stuck using mega because they actually have a drive sync app.
