Ability to affect the model choice
Especially for paying power users, it would be nice to have the ability to manually affect the choice between models. I understand if this doesn't fit your service framework, but I wanted to just put this out there.

Augustus 2026 and still this feature doesn't come to life... IT is not an really a NEW thing, as already THERE ARE choices underneath, it is not an extra cost as already the LUMO system NEEDS to "pick" the model, it is not more than a new control, user side control, as a model MUST be selected... and we, the users want user side controls and user side options

DuckDuckGo and Brave both let you choose which AI model you want to use from a dropdown list. Adding this to Lumo would do a lot to at least bring it to parity with other similarly marketed "private AI" features.

Model selection would be a good thing to have. There's always "Auto" for the default mode. It's annoying to needing to click "Think deeper" everytime the AI model underperforms.

Maybe not what OP was requesting but even if we can select the broader model category, i.e. Thinking/reasoning model, Fast model, Coding model, etc.
