Yes please. Markdown is sometimes all you need for writing formatted plain-text. Adding a "preview" mode may be secondary. But just simply supporting plain text (.txt) or Markdown (.md) in Proton Drive is already a good start, if it will be allowed. Not everything text-based should go through the "Word Doc" editor.

Rsync is very problematic in its implementation, and the "Chrome Install" is basically the Web version still. So maybe create an official Flatpak Linux Client, if having distro-specific ones are costly to maintain?

Timestamping can also solve problems with the AI model not having any idea what time it is currently or what date it is, provided that the AI model checks them before responding.

Model selection would be a good thing to have. There's always "Auto" for the default mode. It's annoying to needing to click "Think deeper" everytime the AI model underperforms.

Performance tanks as the chat gets longer in any AI model I have used, so I am not sure what would be the approach to development on this.

Bigger models require more compute power, and therefore needs more funding. I do hope Lumo AI grows at a scale that it can afford these better models.

Other companies separate the AI bundles from the standard workspace tools. Having them separate is better. Plus, the compute power needed for AI is immense, so funding-wise, it is best to separate the pricing for it. Let the revenue gathered for the Proton apps focus on improving the workspace tools.

As long as this is opt-in, and not enabled by default, it's fine. The main reason why other AI models feel intrusive is because of the memory function.
Now Knowledge, that's something that can be better improved and expanded. Lumo Projects is a good start. If we soon arrive at a point where the amount of Knowledge added to a project is bigger, then it can contend with the competition.

Integration to other Proton apps would be good, if only the apps themselves get improvements first to at least be up to par with the competition (Google, Microsoft 365, etc.).
And yes, if it's a setting that you can enable/disable per-app, it will be a good thing.

Markdown should be at least the standard for copypasting, I think. The rest can be next down the line. Markdown formatting is much more readable as-is, rather than the other standards (HTML, BBCode, Plain Text).

While important, it may be a challenging feature to implement. It even took a while for Google to "support" pivot tables.
