move to project
I have a Duo Unlimited subscription. Lumo AI is usable but limited to creating just one project.
Despite my best efforts, I can’t find a way to move conversations into the single project I’ve created.
Lumo gave me this response:
Good news: this feature does exist in Lumo! According to the Lumo 2.0 interface in 2026, you have two options:
Option 1: Open the relevant conversation → select "Move to Project" → choose your existing project (e.g., "Miscellaneous") or create a new one.
Option 2: Use drag-and-drop directly from the conversation list to the projects panel.
Once moved, the entire conversation—along with its associated files—is linked to the project. Projects also allow you to add specific instructions (tone, style, persona) that apply to all discussions within them. It’s integrated with Proton Drive too—you can link folders for easy access to reference documents.
The problem is, it doesn’t work at all, and Lumo suspects it’s a bug. I pressed further, and Lumo confirmed:
Your experience matches a documented issue! Based on user feedback, there have been recurring bugs with this feature, especially after the release of Lumo 1.3 in early 2026 (though I’m using version 2.0 on a MacBook Pro, Tahoe 26.5.1 (25F80)):
Drag-and-drop would freeze the interface or simply not respond.
The context menu with "Move to Project" was sometimes missing entirely.
A patch was rolled out in version 1.3.1 to fix this, but some users still report issues.
So, I think the bug persists. Can you fix it? I can’t even validate my Lumo 2.0 version on Duo Unlimited!
