when internet connection lost, ability to add event on the calendar app
When internet connection lost, users should be able to add event on the calendar app.
Synchronization would then occur when the internet connection is found again.4 votes -
Default description and location automatically populated in a calendar
A default calendar description and location would be great. I send a lot of calendar invitations to people using the exact same description and Zoom link information. It would save a lot of time to have one of my calendars fill all that information in by default instead of having to copy/paste that info each time I create an event in that calendar.
For instance, one calendar is a "teaching" calendar. Any event created in that calendar could have the description and location field pre-populated with the desired information.

Customize Calendar Visibility Across Different Views
Problem Statement:
In a multifunctional calendar app that fits multiple calendars, such as one for personal events, another for work, and yet another for university lectures, the user interface can become cluttered. This makes it challenging to quickly identify important or unusual events in the monthly view.Suggested Solution:
Selective Calendar Hiding: Allow users to toggle the visibility of specific calendars in different views (daily, weekly, monthly, etc.) without the manual toggle. For example, I could choose to hide my 'University Lectures' calendar when in the 'Monthly' view to make it easier to spot unique or essential events.

Please make available an embedded link so that I can put my Online and In-person Class Schedule on my website. At the moment I'm using Google for this and would like to use Proton.

Fantastical input method
Give us the capability to input data like in the fantastical Calendar app: haircut, 16 december at 16:25 it creates an event on 16 december 2023 at the correct time( with a custom duration) . Just try Fantastical once. Like we are talking with an assistant.

Suggestions based on previous events
When creating a new event, I would like to have suggestions based on previous created events. That should include Title, Colour, Notifications and all the other things you can add to the event.
I currently use the Samsung Calendar application (where this feature already exists) and maybe I will move to the Proton one if they implement this. It's such convenient.

Quick add event by holding down on date.
When using the "monthly view", it would be great to be able to hold down on a specific date, to quick add an event on that day. Instead of having to press the + and scroll through the dates.

month display several lines Android
Hi,
On the Android (and Apple) application, when displaying months, is it possible to display appointments better?
For example, on several lines during the day, especially when there is only one event. See the example of the Etar application on Android.
Thank you very much
Sincerely

Accepting an event should be associated to the recipient's email
It is a bug, but the support said it's more like a feature.
Accepting an event invite associates the event with the default email address instead of the recipient's one.
- Assume you have X@protonmail.com and Y@mydomain.com addresses.
- You receive a calendar invite on Y@mydomain.com.
- If you accept, Proton Calendar accepts it as X@protonmail.com instead of Y@mydomain.com
At the moment, you have to manually go to Proton Calendar, edit the invite, associate it with Y@mydomain.com, save it, and accept the invite.
Of course, there are edge cases such as aliases, but that's the power of it.

Decline an event with a note
It would be helpful to be able to add a note when declining an event, explaining why the event was declined.

Distinguish recurring events
This is a minor quality-of-life improvement, but one that I - and hopefully others - would find immensely useful. I would like to request the addition of a visual indicator in the main calendar view if an event is a recurring one (Outlook does this with a circular double-arrow symbol). If one instance of a recurring event is altered, that symbol becomes crossed-out, but remains visible as to distinguish between recurring events, altered recurring event entries, and single events.

Dayforce support
Add support for calendar sync with Ceridian dayforce.
Ceridian dayforce is a scheduling app used by companies so workers can see when theyre planned in. This app has a local calendar sync feature built in that currently doesnt work with proton calendar.

Drag and drop without confirmation box
I would like the ability to drag and drop events in the calendar without having to auto confirm each time. This is how it works in google calendar and is ideal.
When timeblocking, and pushing lots of events, it gets frustrating having to confirm because i need to do this lots of times.

Create a way to modify a season calendar time zone
I’ve just downloaded the MLB calendar but it’s not recognising that I’m in a different time zone than when the games are on in the local time. Is there a way to create a function to select a time zone - or convert to my time zone?

New calendar item/event copies time from old/previous item with matching name (e.g. work shifts)
I use Google Calendar but I want to switch to Proton.
I work irregular (day, evening, night) and I always add my start and end hours in my calendar item. When I add a new "Day Shift" item in the Google Calendar it offers the option to copy the hours over from past events. So you do not have to keep setting the hours everytime you add a 1:1 similar item on another day.3 votes -
View Only "This" Calendar and "Show All" calendars
It would be nice to have the option to click on a certain calendar and hide all other calendars.
Additionally, it would be nice to have a button that "Shows all" calendars.
