Add participants on iOS
I have started playing around with Proton Calendar in beta. It looks nice. I cannot see a way to share events to other people or invite them to an event (internally to other ProtonCal users or externally to people using other calendar services). Is this feature available? If not, is it in development?
Thanks :)
The ability to invite participants on iOS is now available!

I like the feature where I buy a flight ticket and I can just add it automatically to google calendar.

I can invite people to events or edit an event on a browser, but not in the iOS app.

Proton Calendar and hence Proton Mail is useless without CalDav. OK, so I can share my Proton calendar but can't do anything with it on another platform?

+1
Use case example: My public transport planning app lets me create an .ics file from the desired connection. But at the moment I can't use the Android app of Proton Calendar to open the .ics file with or to import the .ics file. I'd like to switch from Outlook to Proton Calendar, but my use cases doesn't allow it. -

The ability to share easily with other proton users is a must. As others have mentioned for families and businesses, this is a necessity. The ability to adjust share levels (i.e. view only, edit, etc) for events needs to be included. Once this and a desktop sync app is ready I can move fully over from Google. I tried once, but there was to much push back for lack of features.

I really like what I see in Proton mail, contacts and calendar. But there are other features I must have:
1. Shared contacts with other PM accounts
2. Shared calendars with other PM accountsSame features with non-Proton Mail accounts are desirable, but not an absolute requirement.

In addition to one logon for the primary logon, in my case another trusted user who also has a protonmail account would need the one logon if offered.

EDIT capabilities across accounts (like a family shared calendar) is one of the most important things for me as a private user with family. This is one of the points why not all my family already switchted to proton mail, calendar and vpn.

As the CTO of our organization I have chosen to use Protonmail for our organization. I am getting a lot of pushback from our team because of the lack of a calendar sharing feature. The organization will be leaving protonmail for something else unless we get this feature.

Will not be using Proton Calendar until share/invite capability is added. This should be basic and included in Beta.

Agreed. Until this feature is implemented its really hard to use the calendar for much beyond a personal day-timer/reminder. I totally get this product is in Beta but well, its been in Beta for over a year and needs to be pushed along with the Proton Mail Beta to a fully functional production rollout sooner then later.

In order to use Proton Calendar instead of gmail, and bring my family to using it as well, I would need two features:
- Ability to share calendars between two Proton Calendar users
- Ability to display the calendar in a weekly view

The Calendar presents nicely and is easy to use but add my vote to sharing, mobile and push/email notifications and not just the desktop. No one is always at a desk anymore. I really need to leave Gmail but I am used to what I now consider basic convenience features.

Hello @ProtonMail Product Team...Any chance when this feature will be enabled or rolled-out? Can we get visibility on this timeline? I'd really like to be able to switch from Google Calendar but as several people have pointed out, I really need to schedule events with attendees that can also RSVP... Thanks!

Actually I was sure that sharing a calendar is a basic feature for every calendar tool, thats why I decided to upgrade paying 48€ a year. Now I see that it is missing this basic capability. I can just hope, you guys are going to get this feature quickly developed.
I've been using google for about 10 years before I decided to move on to protonmail, pls don't make me get back to the spying google. -

+1 Sharing a calendar with family is essential. Recently moved from Google to Proton Visionary and this is an absolute requirement. I need to be able to share my caneldar with family, who are also on proton.

I was excited to find a Protonmail calendar, then extremely disappointed to find I couldn't use it to arrange meetings

If we could have event and calendar sharing, that would ultimately allow me to easily migrate off Google Calendar.
