How can we improve Proton Calendar?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

  1. Collaborative/shared calendar between Proton users

    I would like to be able to make my calendar collaborative - e.g for use with my spouse or family. One calendar where everyone in my household can add/view/modify changes.

  3. Add 'search' to web app

    There should be definitely, and fast, a "search" option in Proton Calendar.
    One has to be able to find a word, a name, an address etc, instead of going back searching day-by-day this item.

  5. Show holidays on Calendar

    In some calendar apps, it is possible to import all official/national holidays for a country, for each year.

  6. Proton Calendar on Mobile

    Love that you guys created an encrypted Calendar - but what's the point of it if the only way to use it is to log in on the PM web version? There is no sync, no push notifications, and worst of all it's not available on mobile.
    I think most of us use calendars on our mobile devices.

    So PCalendar should either have a standalone app, or at the very least be integrated into the PMail app.

    Better yet, is there any way to integrate/sync calendar data into a device's other third party calendar app?
    For example, I've been using…

    As an Android phone user, it would be great if we can have calendar widget which can be directly accessed without opening the app.

    I think not only importing but exporting calendars to ics format should also be supported.

  9. Month view - iOS

    like other calenders bigger squares with details in the squares, this is standard in other calendars like google, samsung, blackberry, probably implemented the best in samsung or blackberry, that way when looking at month clandar can have overview if schedule without needing to go into every day. it makes it a lot easier to use. Also good week view, 3 day view and agenda view would be great. Essentially need better views for it to compete as a good useable calendar

  10. Add participants on iOS

    I have started playing around with Proton Calendar in beta. It looks nice. I cannot see a way to share events to other people or invite them to an event (internally to other ProtonCal users or externally to people using other calendar services). Is this feature available? If not, is it in development?

  13. Import google calendar and .ics

    Will be easier to migrate to proton calendar if we have the option to import the calendars from other platforms.
    You can export google calendar to .ics format, if we could import that to proton calendar would be great.

  14. Calendar favicon showing todays date

    I frequently have the calendar pinned among my tabs, and having recently moved from GMail, I'm used to the number shown in the favicon to be todays date.

  16. Repeated Events & Custom Intervals on Calendar

    Thank you for introducing the Calendar on beta! It is exactly what our business needs. However, we really need the custom calendar features that are available on Google. Without these, we can't really use the calendar.

    In particular, being able to set repeat events at custom time intervals (exactly as per Google's calendar), eg. every 3 days or to never end, etc.

    I love protonmail as it is, to have an integrated calendar would be very handy. I would use it all the time then!!!
