Proton Calendar (web app)
I love protonmail as it is, to have an integrated calendar would be very handy. I would use it all the time then!!!
A calendar is more than just a tool. It’s a record of the moments that make up your life. Today, we’re happy to announce the launch of ProtonCalendar beta for all paid users. ProtonCalendar keeps your events private and secure. Learn more here: https://protonmail.com/blog/protoncalendar-beta-announcement/

Please add seasonal background pictures for each month in the calendar. I think it would a nice feature that users will like.

What is the latest update on calender? I cannot recommend protonmail without a calender system.

Please add a repeat daily button (currently has repeat weekly, monthly, annually, but not daily). Also, I know it is coming but as soon as you can get a shared calendar working, I can move other accounts to Proton.

Lack of this is why I haven't switched my company's email to proton. This is your most needed feature IMHO

Does anyone know when Protoncalendar is scheduled to be launched?

A synchronized calendar (both mobile and desktop) connected to an email address is essential for business users. In fact, this is the only thing that prevents me from using proton email as a corporate email because synchronized meeting invitations from outlook, etc. via email is required for the company to function properly.

I would love a calendar app that can be shared and is secure and private as well.

We are considering a switch from another provider, but without calendar this makes absolutely no sense :(

I would ditch all other lesser options if this was available

Kevin, I tried Tutanota - you might not want to go there. I paid extra to use my own domain. Thats when I discovered you cannot import your existing email.
I was told I could have a refund but that has not happened.
Tutanota, in my case, was a waste of time and money.
Im happy with Protonmail, it works with my domain and I was able to import my existing email from gmail. I also use contacts but look forward to improvements in calendar and contacts in time.
The process of trying to get a refund from Tutonota is such that I would be reluctant to have anything further to do with them.

Besides, there are competitors, e.g. https://secureswissdata.com/encrypted-calendar/ is quite similar and somewhat more advanced already.
