Collaborative/shared calendar between Proton users
I would like to be able to make my calendar collaborative - e.g for use with my spouse or family. One calendar where everyone in my household can add/view/modify changes.

I would like to use the calendar for appointments in my practice but need it to be shared AND editable for my call service (they answer my phone) to add, delete move etc appointments.
Very critical! -

This was nearly a year ago. Are we to conclude that Proton has not gotten any traction on this in the past 11 months? And yet so many customers declare that it would be a game changer. What gives?

Should be in protons interest as well as it will get a lot of people to join who at this point have to use other shared calendars with proton users...

Yes pls!
I'm 100% with this guy: "Currently using Time Tree and it's trash. Proton mail is excellent and I really want to get my wife to move over to Proton too. Lack of this feature is the deal breaker atm"

Would be a game changer.

Currently using Time Tree and it's trash. Proton mail is excellent and I really want to get my wife to move over to Proton too. Lack of this feature is the deal breaker atm. Once this is implemented we'll move fully over to Proton and sign up for premium.

I very much miss this functionality on the app for ios.

I'm trying to coordinate travel with friends and family via proton calendar and the lack of collaborative functionality is making it hard when I am not the only person doing the planning. currently my workaround is to create events for proposed items on our itineraries and invite my friends and family as participants. problem is I am the owner of the events and they cannot edit the events themselves. what I really want is shared events which are editable by multiple people. even better would be shared calendars which my f&f can view or edit.

This would be very helpful for Business and Visionary subscribers, where a group of users needs to transparently post and coordinate events without laborious and extraneous communication.
User access permissions might be necessary for Business accounts, so a calendar service can be subdivided among groups of users, with certain users designated by the account-holder able to see 'the master calendar'. -

Agreed, I'm baffled I cannot create a single event in my own calendar If I refuse to use the poor app and widget that are currently available from proton also

We have a business domain and we would all like to have a collaborative calendar for meetings, work events. It would be nice to be able to at least share your calendars with co-workers so we can keep track of schedules.

This is critical for me, it is the last hurdle stopping me from completely switching over from gmail/googlecalendar to protonmail/protoncalendar. My wife and I both use google calendar and we share each of our calendars with each other. We would like to do the same on proton, the share by link feature isn't sufficient. If Proton implements this we will upgrade to a paid plan.

would be a great idea, but you will have to set it up with tight security, so only the right People can access it when needed.

This is the only thing stopping me from using the calendar. I need a calendar that I can use with other Proton users so we can synchronize scheduling in our busy family.

Agreed. I cannot switch over to ProtonMail unless and until a jointly managed calendar (or at the very least, allowing edit access to another ProtonMail user) is possible.

This is core functionality and not a nice to have. We need this implemented, it's the only thing holding my wife back on g-mail.

I joined because I thought the shared calendar feature would do this but it does not seem to.

This is what is holding me back from using the calendar.
