Export to ics
Dear Support,
I think not only importing but exporting calendars to ics format should also be supported.
Cheers

i want to export a calendar from a different month from the current one and cannot figure out how to do it. would not be necessary if there was a way to print it.

if you export a calendar, there is no way to only export a specific time frame of events - it takes for ever. suggest adding a filter to allow a date range for export.

It -is- supported. The issue becomes viewing your ics securely. You either open all your data up to google, microsloth or an insecure online interface. If Proton could build an ics viewer app to be stored locally, then searching the calendar wouldn't be such a critically important feature.

Doesn't this feature already exist on the web interface?
Manage Calendars->Import Export (on the side bar)

Recently I had no internet for an entire week.
It is absolutely UNACCEPTABLE not to know whether I missed any crucial appointments within this time.
An export for Protonmail MUST be implemented ASAP, else I will have to look for another provider to be on the safe side.
What are you guys thinking ? That it is great customer binding to force people onto protons platform ? -

Without export the calender clearly lacks one of the most important features...
Is this ready to be added soon? -

Yes please.

This is very important to me. I always like to keep my own regular backups of the different cloud services that I use.

Being able to export even basic calendar entries to csv or spreadsheet would be very useful to me. I have just started using it and am setting up individual projects as their own calendar. On completing a project I would like to be able to export all entries and then disable or delete the project/calendar.

I keep my calendar private, mostly because I don't want big tech to know my business. The only copy of my protonmail calendar is online. I would like to be able to backup my calendar on my computer.

Wow, there is no export?! Okay, I guess it is still in beta but if this is the case also after beta I'm deleting my protonmail account!

I am seriously worried that protonmail is, in this respect, less fair than google. At least one can take-out from google.
We, users, should follow closely if this kind of practices continue, we have to spread the alarm.
Note that this point is a duplicate:

I agree. This is a must! Should access to the internet be lost there must be a way to import these calendar files into another package for offline use. EX: Thunderbird or Outlook. There is no export function for anything available right now and that is scary....

I recommend this for the very next feature for proton calendar! I second that this is vital.

I agree. This is absolutely essential. I just spent a couple of hours manually adding my calendar information into Proton Calendar, went to export it to an .ics file for safekeeping, and found there's no ability to do so. The ability to import and export our data to standard formats is vital.

Export specifically to standard .ics format.

Yes, calendar export is a must-have. I desperately want to switch away from Google, but I'm not going to jump out of the pan and into the fire by permanently locking myself into another company's product, so I need full import and export for all data (mail, contacts and calendar).
It looks like calendar is the only product without an export function.
I'm paying for a Protonmail account just to evaluate it, but I'll eventually cancel it in a few months unless this feature is implemented. Otherwise, this is the only feature that's missing to actually be a viable replacement to the Google Suite.
You're so close. Please add this feature.
