Add participants on iOS
I have started playing around with Proton Calendar in beta. It looks nice. I cannot see a way to share events to other people or invite them to an event (internally to other ProtonCal users or externally to people using other calendar services). Is this feature available? If not, is it in development?
Thanks :)
The ability to invite participants on iOS is now available!

Sharing calendars is something I am very much looking forward to. I'm stuck using Google's calendar right now and am in a hurry to get off their platform. Please keep up that great work on ALL your new features! I'm waiting (mostly) patiently. :-)

LOL whut... i ended up here because i was googling how to send calender invites from protonmail.
How can you make a calender system without being able to send calender invites?
I love protonmail, but seriously, didn't you think this feature was a bit on the "need to have" and not "nice to have" side of things???

Uh - yeah - hard to believe a calendar was released w/o this feature...

It is a must have -- manage everything with invites (sent and received).

I can accept a calendar invitation from Google on the Web and it adds nicely to the calendar app on the phone, but i cannot accept the invitation directly on the mail app on the phone

The ability to invite and share events is critical. Not having that functionality is a non-starter. Also too- the ability to integrate with MailBird would be of great value.

A request that is the same or a variation on a theme -- is there a way to develop a shared Proton Mail calendar? i.e. for work colleagues on a common project, or family members that want to keep track of events between different family members on a common calendar. I appreciate that keeping things secure is best done within the protonmail infrastructure, so I guess this is a question of whether or not multiple protonmail users can create and have access to a common calendar.

Tutanota seems to have this calendar function now

I don't have anything new to add...but am also waiting to migrate to PM until the calendar is fully functional.
The calendar feature is useless without the ability to invite non-PM accounts, or accept an invitation from non-PM accounts.

+3 votes as well, this is quite an essential part of a "modern" calendar app.
Did anyone manage to get in contact with the protonmail support to check if this is somewhere in the roadmap already?

Hi,
I'm a visionary tier user of Protonmail, I really need this feature, the ability to accept, forward, and send invites. The ability to export a calendar/share calendar also.
If this feature is built, then I could see many more customers using PM.
thanks

Cross-linking what seems to be the same request to illustrate just how much this is wanted:

Hi, I'm awaiting full migration until this functionality is available. i'm surprised this is not part of the Beta since this is a very basic functionality. Sending invites, accepting them and being able to import O365/Gmail calendars would be required as a minimum I believe.

Absolutely need this functionality to make this useful.

I would love to see this feature up and running ASAP, as well. I am currently paying for Acuity scheduling via Squarespace, and I do not like it at all. I like Calendly because of the aesthetic look and the simplicity of it so something between those two would be amazing!
When can we expect the update on this? Thanks

I agree with Ryan. This might be a new suggestion, but if I could configure my ProtonCalendar account so that others with a URL could schedule time in my calendar, that would be amazing.
However, for that to be useful for me, I would need a way to pull in events from external calendars (e.g. an Office 365 work email address and personal Google Calendar).

Adding mine into the hat, as well. My job requires the ability to share calendar events. In addition, to be able to share a public version of my calendar (just blocks, no info) with others so they can add appointments themselves to my calendar would be incredible. See Calendly as one app that does this well. Having this built into ProtonCalendar would not only be a functionality goldmine, but would advertise Proton's services as well. So many of the those I consult with have spoken highly of the ease of Calendly's experience. Would prefer to swap it out completely with ProtonCalendar functionality and encryption.
