Proton Calendar on Mobile
Love that you guys created an encrypted Calendar - but what's the point of it if the only way to use it is to log in on the PM web version? There is no sync, no push notifications, and worst of all it's not available on mobile.
I think most of us use calendars on our mobile devices.
So PCalendar should either have a standalone app, or at the very least be integrated into the PMail app.
Better yet, is there any way to integrate/sync calendar data into a device's other third party calendar app?
For example, I've been using Fruux to keep my contacts and calendars in sync on multiple devices. I can add a calendar event in, say, Android's native calendar app, then it'll sync up with Fruux, and push that event on to ALL my other calendar apps (Fantastical on iOS, Thunderbird's calendar plugin, etc etc etc).
Thank you

I'd like to follow up on this. Not having the calendar on my iphone is a significant problem for me. Is this feature coming soon?

Agreed!
If I can't see all my events with my Apple Calendar app this is not a good solution.

needs an iOS app ASAP. really unhappy everything gets released on android first ... a system with questionable privacy practices is your first priority ?

Just to add to the comments....DEFINITELY need an iOS app. iOS is far more secure than Android. Looking forward to its release.

Protoncalendar without an iOS app is nada, nichts, niente, nothing, rien. I won't use a calendar that cannot be checked from my mobile devices on the go :S

98% of my appointments originate from work (MS Exchange / O365) so a sync option is kind of a prerequisite for usage of the calendar functionality. "gsync" provides Outlook to x sync options this would be good for me.

I would find a widget in the proton calendar app useful. Similar to the default android calendar app or outlook but proton calendar.
This is really hindering it because it needs quick viewability of upcoming events or even a whole calendar month to be useful without having to open the app each time.

Add ability to get to Proton Calendar from Proton Mail - not have to start a new app or website.

There's been a Proton calendar app available for Android for a few months now. I'm waiting to switch over from my self-hosted calendar until there's a widget, but I definitely wouldn't want Google calendar or some other third-party to be able to read it, so I can be patient. I assume at some point they'll also create a Calendar Bridge for Thunderbird as it already exists for ProtonMail.

I'll add my voice. I pay for ProtonMail, trying to extricate myself from Google. We really need a calendar app for iOS.

Hi, any word on when the iOS calendar app will be available OR a way to connect it to iCloud calendar?
I love the Proton suite but this is becoming a MAJOR inconvenience. Please tell us when this will be available.

You need to download the ProtonVPN app for your operating system. You can securely stream your favorite shows on Windows, macOS, and Linux devices or on the go with an Android device.
If you have an Android TV, you can join the beta testing program and install the app directly on your device.

I think intergrating it with the phnes calendar would defaut the purpose of protonmail as it would sync to your google account or provide google/apple access to your calendar events as well as others.
Since this feature requires trusting the Phones security and the third party apps security I vote this one down.. Sorry.
I agree it would be nice but I do not want the option of compromise even if it was an educated "advanced option"

This is an extremely frustrating part of protonmail and one that is making me question my decision to use the email service. I need to have my calendar on my iphone and desktop and have it connected to my email.

I just started using ProtonCalendar. Opened the web version, imported my Google calendar without a hitch, fast and smooth. I then grabbed the mobile calendar app from the play store, logged in with it and found that all my calendar entries were also available on my Android phone. Good job folks, works for me. Thank you
