"Search" option in Proton Calendar
There should be definitely, and fast, a "search" option in Proton Calendar.
One has to be able to find a word, a name, an address etc, instead of going back searching day-by-day this item.

Recent arrival from the G***** debacle with the "free forever" accounts that weren't free forever. If I'm paying for it, I may as well pick an option that attempts to preserve my privacy, which brings me here.
The android apps for calendar don't show event names in month view like the desktop app, and without a search function, it becomes really tedious to find out when you scheduled an event far in the future, say a dentist or doc appointment. You literally have to page through each day. I can see that this is currently in beta. I question if the lack of a search pushes it into alpha territory, but I sincerely hope that this is on the way and is only taking so long because the proton team is committed to doing it right.

YES! A "search" feature is a must... As I've been migrating from Google to ProtonMail this lack of a "search" feature in the calendar was the only disappointment.
We all know ProtonMail is constantly working hard to deliver the best...
But take care of this low-hanging fruit soon, please (& thank you).

To be able to search within the calendar is a very BASIC and NECESSARY function! Why is this taking so long to develop and deploy? Not even a response to this request from so many users?? This is VERY disappointing. Now reconsidering Proton as my Google replacement.

This seems like a very basic feature and I'm surprised it wasn't in the beta and initial release. This should be added ASAP, especially considering many Proton users are paying customers.

this function should also come with a standardized syntax, like in outlook for instance (from:name@address.com or subject:xyz, ...)

Search is a primary function, it should have been there in the first version! Please add this asap.

Please sort out a search engine for the calendar. It’s so difficult to find anything without one.

This is by far the most popular and active thread not yet put into practice. Comments very active since a year ago. Is this the response time of protonmail? Even more so to a simple feature like search function??
I am a protonmail plus user (meaning i pay 100$ a year for your products), and I am seriously considering switching back to google, microsoft, apple, etc. for this stuff - privacy has its price which should only be reasonable.
DID YOU EVEN RESPOND TO THIS THRED? Let's say in two weeks I.am.out. if this feature is not put into practice (which takes like a day or two, max, and you are supposed to be the world's top IT guys from CERN, WTF! get your heads out of your asses!)

Be able to search the calendar by title AND what is present in the notes section (a feature that Google Calendar has and is the only thing I miss from it).

I'm a paying user of Protonmail. Could a search option be please be integrated in the Calendar? It's very annoying right now without it. Almost feels like a paper diary.

Incredible no search feature implemented on day 1. Proton, are you even serious about this calendar product? Imagine making something like a refrigerator without shelves. It is stupid and ridiculous. Same as a digital calendar without search.

Calendar would be much more useful if you were able to search for a specific event.
