Calendar location maps integration (e.g. Open Street Maps)
Being able to choose the location field from a map provider, such as OSM, and make the location field link to map provider website / mobile app.

Please please add this feature otherwise I won't be able to pursue my journey with Proton unfortunately...

It would be nifty to have the proton calendar app marking event locations into organic maps.

Same here, it's make hard to use a calendar software to improve performance when you have to open two apps to get the location of a meeting.
Also I feel being forced to use Google maps when I want to avoid sharing my information to third companies.
I tried to use OpenStreetMap but they don't make easy to copy the location on their interface.

This is a really important feature that pretty much only proton calendar is lacking. It's stopping me from going all in with proton calendar and NEEDS to be integrated.

Just switched from Google calendar and this is a big gap. Not a killer, but please add this function.

Yep, immediately saw this as a key missing feature that I've used regularly in Google Calendar for many years. It is the primary thing lacking from Proton Calendar in my opinion

Many times I have info with addresses in my calendar and its a copy paste back and forth to get it into maps. Should be an easy feature in put in place.

Could we add to this the ability to choose from recently used locations? Many of the locations that people choose for meetings are in places they use frequently. For example, it's tiresome to have to enter my office location (or my kids school location) in the location field every time. This could populate based on the frequency of locations used in past calendar entries.

Connecting with Apple Maps and automatically suggest the location live while typing it in, would be amazing and a must have

I was prepared to make the switch to Proton Calendar but it must have location services. I commonly use the location in my Google calendar to launch Google maps so I can get driving directions.

Connecting with Google Maps is paramount to me, before I can justify making the switch.

I would like the ability to connect with Google Maps too. The benefits of knowing current traffic situation, travel time estimates and connecting to Android Auto/Apple CarPlay for navigation purposes is useful. There should be a way for us to allow location services if we want this functionality or deny it if we want to opt out.

+1 for this, at the very least support for opening the location as a geo query
eg.`geo:0,0?q=london+bridge`
would be good (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geo_URI_scheme#Unofficial_extensions) -

Indeed =) It would be great if the address was a standard link that can be opened by any app, OSM, Mappy, whichever is set as default.

Yes! Great idea, for OSM and other open, croud-sourced geo-location apps like it or based on it.
