iOS widget
It'd be super useful if there was a mobile widget for the ProtonCalendar app so I can see my calendar from my home screen

I hope this will include a small widget for the iOS 17 Lock Screen. I switched over from Apple calendar just recently and I like that function.

an Proton Calendar iOS widget is the only thing missing for me to ditch the default one and go with Proton Calendar exclusively.
Ideally it will be available in different "Apple widget sizes" and at minimum be able to show today's calendar events
ideally also upcoming ones for the next day(s)
and show the weekdays/dates for the full month. (the calendar grid - like the one you click on Windows 11 date/time at the bottom right) -

Waiting for iOS widget to use the Calendar full time. Without being able to see the day on the Home Screen, it’s really not useable. Please please

Hi!
I am a new user of proton services, mail and calendar. I would like the email application to have a costum sound notification and the calendar application to have a widget. It would be very useful. Hope you think the same!
Best regards! -

I’m trying to make the move from Google + Fantastical on iOS, but it seems a big loss. The iOS app without an agenda view and no widget makes this change very hard. I have to open the app and scroll for a whole day to visualize my meetings. It unusable if you want to get a whole idea of your day or week. Also, a calendar is something I find important very visible on my “desk” (the phone screen), but without the widget, what’s the alternative? Add a widget of another calendar? Makes no sense.

I switched from Gmail and I loved using their iOS widget to view and access my calendar. Really wish Proton would create an iOS widget. Cmon guys!

Widget for iOS and the search functionality would make the app much more usable, it is not very convenient to open the app each and every time.

Sad that this is still an issue in 2023. Without widgets, apps lose most, if not all, of their user experience usefulness.

I second this request for iOS and iPadOS. Create four all for widget sizes just like the Apple Calendar widgets.

I would like to see an option for a full month view in the widget. The current widget doesn't have this option.

I have seen that the widget blocks other widgets from updating/refreshing.
After I removed the Proton Calendar widget all my other widgets are updating/refreshing again.Might want to look into it.

This is ESSENTIAL! Based on my experience using google calendar for Android, I barely even use the app! I do it all through one giant widget that fills up one full page of my home screen and shows A WHOLE MONTH of events. For me, that is a must to start using proton calendar.

The update from November 15 is great, but it would be even better if it could display the full month with description as well :)
Something similar to this: https://digibites.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/article_attachments/200104382/Month_widget_alpha_blue-s.png
Or the full week, like this: https://digibites.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/article_attachments/200097891/Grid_widget_alpha_dark-s.png
(note: the images are from the DigiCal app)

The Nov. 15 Android update includes the widget, see the "What's New" on the Play store page: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=me.proton.android.calendar&hl=en_US&gl=US
I quite like it.
See this post on Reddit for a screenshot: https://www.reddit.com/r/ProtonMail/comments/qmkvrk/protoncalendar_android_app_widget/

Just discovered proton calendar after being happy with mail pro for the last year.
It seems really solid but is lacking this widget to view the months events. It is a must have to compete with google!!
+1 for this suggestion :) -

This is a critical requirement for calendar to be useful on mobile phone.
I have to keep using outlook calendar, so i can see the upcoming things i have easily at a glance.
