Shared calendars - two-way sync (read/write between Proton, Office365, Google)
I use Protonmail for my private calendar, but Outlook/Google for work. I would like to have Proton Calendar integrated in e.d. the Android native app so I have all my calendars in one.

not a good idea, more integration weakens security, the reason to move to proton is for more security than the big 3-4 provide!
Get a family plan and all profit from better security. I moved everything from MS365 and google to proton. Everything works smoothly and sharing in the family is a breeze. The biggest plus is, it reduces complexity! The suite beets anything MS has and does not lock you in on OS or devices (like apple does, btw working on an MBPM2). -

I currently use Google Calendar together with my wife. I would like to switch completely to Proton, but this is currently not possible because Proton does not provide this function.
My wife doesn't use Proton and doesn't want to for the time being.

So, this is more of a question I guess. I wanted a similar feature so I could share my Proton with Google friends and family. I then realized that once my cal is in their Google via share, Google has my info again. My reason to use Proton is to keep big tech hooks out of my mail, plans to travel, and location. So, sending my proton cal or email for that matter gives the info right back to big tech.
Please tell me, do I have it all wrong? -

This would allow me to truly leave the Google/Microsoft infastructure and not leave me on an island unable to communicate with others who are not willing to switch over. Business and Family calendars are a huge part of the infastructure that helps big data keep its claws in users. If you could create a way for interoperability between privacy conscious and others it would be a huge step forward.

I would be very happy, if i can integrate a Proton calendar in my business calendar (O365) - doesn't need to be 2-way-sync (only read is ok). I tried several way to bring this calendars together in a good way, but haven't succeed until now. Before i also missed the possibility to sync the calendar with Thunderbird, but this is solved for me with the desktop app.

this would make it a lot easier to adopt Proton for sure!

I typically look at all the calendars from my emails in one app (Apple Calendar). Ideally, Proton events would also show up there, so I don't also have to look at Proton Calendar to check if some time is free. Is this feature (adding Proton Calendar to other apps) planned?

Sorry to say, but Google does not allow two way sync. Nothing Proton can do about this.
The only way around will work with a lag of 1-3 hours and it's not worth implementing.
You need to move from Google Calendar to Proton Calendar. May be Proton will implement some unique collaborative feature that will motivate people to move.

CRITICAL!
I have several calendars linked/integrated with iCloud. I use Outlook for work and personal use. I haven't been using Proton Calendar because, as an iPhone user, I would have to open the two calendar apps separately to view what calendar items have been added on those separate calendars. I don't see myself using Proton Calendar until this feature is added.

The best way to do this, is for Proton to provide CalDAV support for the Proton calendar, the lack of this feature is a barrier to my paying to use Proton calendar.
I need to be able to use calenders across devices and apps, I don't want a Proton walled garden, that is the thing I am trying to get away from!

I moved off Apple Calendar to Fantastical but this would allow me to move my calendar 100% into the cloud. My wife and I share an iCloud calendar and this would be amazing.

I wouldn't hold your breath on this one, folks. I have had an open support ticket on one-way read-only syncing between Proton Calendar and Google Calendar since January which has yet to be resolved 🙄

Most calendars are not useful if they can't be shared. I can't use this product until two-way sync with common platforms is available.

It is nice to be able to open the shared google agenda with my partner...
But it would be even more nice if not only she can edit the agenda from google, but I could edit it too from proton :D -

Too everyone saying this feature is availible
TWO WAY sync is COMPLETELY different then read only access to a different calendar.

Are there any updates on this already?
