Read/write sync with other calendars (Office365, Google)
I use Protonmail for my private calendar, but Outlook/Google for work. I would like to have Proton Calendar integrated in e.d. the Android native app so I have all my calendars in one.

This is feature is gating me from moving my calendar eco-system to proton.

Most calendars are not useful if they can't be shared. I can't use this product until two-way sync with common platforms is available.

It is nice to be able to open the shared google agenda with my partner...
But it would be even more nice if not only she can edit the agenda from google, but I could edit it too from proton :D -

Yes, please make a two way access available via the bridge

Too everyone saying this feature is availible
TWO WAY sync is COMPLETELY different then read only access to a different calendar.

To the people saying this feature is available - no it's not.
Importing a calendar is not calendar sync.
We need two-way sync with Google or 365.
Product is completely unusable until this is accomplished or calendly integration complete. Alternatively, should proton build their own scheduling app, that would be ideal.

I need read/write access to Google and Office365 calendars within the app. As an alternative I would also be fine with Proton Calendar implementing a CalDAV server.

this feature is now available

As long as edit access from the other calendar app is not required, I think this already exists: https://proton.me/support/share-calendar
It was critical to me as well.

I really want to use Proton Calendar but without access to my Google Calendar I don't think I can make the switch.

Why would the Proton calendar not sync with the Samsung calendar on my android? This should be easy??

I understand that people are not happy that they don’t have access to the mobile calendars from Proton. They are already in the works we are beta testing them. I agree with everyone else that doesn’t understand about the mobile applications. My biggest problems is I cannot join MS Team meetings or Skype for Business meetings if I am able to accept the invites. I actually have to have my co-workers send the invite to an cxx@outlook.com email address I’ve setup just to join meetings. It’s quite rather unfortunate and not at all easy to use the Proton MaiIt’s quite rather unfortunate and not at all easy to use the Proton Mail calendar with any other companies invite any basically there’s no point.

I stopped using Proton Calendar for that only reason : the lack of integration into my phone ecosystem.
I understand Proton is intended for privacy but I don't enjoy beeing in a walled garden.

Given that Proton is intended for privacy, perhaps a simple and relatively safe default would be to create an XML feed that would only block of busy times. For example, in my use case I would want to view my Proton Calendar, but not any of the details of the meeting in my work Outlook. If I need to have my Proton Calendar show up as "busy" in my work account (so people can see that I am busy when trying to schedule something) then I can use PowerAutomate within the work account alone. Other people might use IFTTT or Zapier. Regardelss, by only showing an appointment I'm not exposing any of my data exposed to other calendars.

It would be great to have two categories of Proton Calendars:
1. Proton-protected (encrypted) calendars which are
a) only shareable within an organization
b) or sharable with other Proton users2. Open calendars that are cross platform compatible. These do not need to be encrypted.

This functionality would be great and is also required. I do need to see work and personal events in the same pane. Unfortunately the beta feature isn't robust enough to load either my legacy personal calendar or my work calendar via Google ICS link. All the calendars I need to get access to are "too big".

Being able to snyc with Google for work is critical. Doesn't matter if I need to accept google may be able to read the calendar, but I need private in my Google calendar (that doesn't update every 8 hours or something silly like that) and google in my private (that doesn't need to be given access by my workplace admin, if possible).

I would *love* to use proton calendar for my personal calendar, but yes, I need to be able to access Google calendars in the same app read/write to sync certain calendars with others, and ideally import/export Outlook/office365 calendars to coordinate personal life stuff around my work schedule as well.
I fully understand there wouldn't be any privacy gained for the externally-hosted calendars, but I have no control over that anyway. At least this way I could keep my personal calendar secure without loosing the convenience of managing all my calendars from one app.
If it matters, I am a paid proton mail user for about a year now, and I love the service. Just trying to use more of it!

100% Agree, If it could be able to connect GCalendar and Outlook on proton and have the possibility to create, modification, sync an event to proton on any different agenda, the solution would be perfect
