a travel time function to add to calendar events when you create the event
like ical does when you create an event, its very useful and saves time that you can add travel time when you create the event rather than having to create a separate event for the travel time itself.

Absolutely agree—adding travel time directly into event creation would make calendar apps much more efficient and user-friendly. It's a small change that could save a lot of time and confusion. Speaking of smart planning tools, https://ouremirates.com/ is a great example of how digital platforms can simplify life. It’s a growing hub for residents, tourists, and professionals in the UAE, offering helpful guides, local tips, and curated services to make navigating the Emirates easier and more enjoyable. Whether you're planning your day or your next move, sites like this really add value.

like apple calendar when you add a location, you can then select a time to leave and put in a starting location, then based on the starting location and the location of the enent, automatically sets the time to leave based on map data like apple maps.
on the event it shows the driving time aobe the actual start time of the event.
example 15 min drive and the event starts at 10:00pm there would be a drive time event 15min above and attached to the event as the drive time to the event.
this is great as you can then know how long the travel time would be to the event and when to leave for the event based on drive time.

I recently switched to Android from iPhone and decided to try Proton Calendar. I agree that this feature is something that I constantly use and would like to see in Proton Calendar
