Full week and month view
I use and like a full week/month view like for instance in the app acalendar (android). The week view is in two columns and each day has a square. In this square you have all your events for the day.
It allows to see clearly all appointment for the week/month in full text. Like in an old paper agenda.

Please take a look at the aCalender app. Without a weekview like that I won't use the Proton Calendar App. The screen divided in 7 squares, with all events for the same day compressed in that square. Skip all those empty time slots.

We need a complete overview of the week (and month). aCalendar (Android app) has solved this perfectly, and you should look to their design.
As it is today, it doesn't take many plans for a day to fill up entirely, and then you need to click on individual days just to see what's planned. That leaves a mess and complete lack of overview.
If you add calendars for all members of a family + work schedule, you're completely lost.
For me week view is most important and aCalendar (Android) has the best solution I've found so far. Please be inspired by them :)

Having amonth view for the widget is so needed

On Android I only have the option to view my calendar as the schedule view in the widget. Its far more important for me to see my diary at a glance as the monthly view without going into the app.

The caoender needs a full month view for the widget on android.. Its useful for seeing what's coming up and since gmail has one and users are used to it, it may help with full transition.

Yes, please! This is a must. Add a small miniatures of all events (and tasks eventually) in the month view. This gives us complete overview over the whole month, instead of viewing dozens of colorfull dots and clicking each day separately to find out, what it is. AND I would also love the indefinite vertical scroll to move in time. Also better than click some arrows to view another month…

day, week and month view with details should be available as well for iOS.
without these views and only dots I can't use the app on my Smartphone.
Good example is the app from weekcal -

Having a month view on iOS (like the one on the Android app) is the only thing keeping my family from switching over.

Month view scrolling vertical instead of horizontal would be nice. Like the calendar+ app on android.

I saw the month view looked great in android. I'm still missing this in iOS.
Currently still using other apps to check month and week view. -

I agree! I find the week view with squares for each day clearer.
Only events and their times in each day rather than crowding the view with all possible time slots would work really well with this.
If there are two columns of four, 1 square for each day the last sqaure can include a simple month calendar to help navigate.

It is helpful to see one week at a time instead of just a day.

My votes relate to the iOS app. Would like to be able to see more than one day at a time.

This is the feature that I'm waiting before migrating my calendar to proton.
For year I'm using the app WeekCal on iphone for its "Mini Month" view (same for the app "Calendars" on iphone). It shows the whole month with events on the cells. It's the most practical way to have a look of the whole month in just few seconds.
I'm using only this view for years.
Since Proton Calendar cannot be sync with other app (no webdav feature), it would be great if you could implement it to your app. Thanks!

Please outline or tint the days in the week/month overview which have a schedule item. Maybe using bold or italic for the date font would look good. I don't like to sequentially go day by day scrolling around for a late appointment on my iPhone.

I would really like to have this option in the Android app. A full week view like the one provided by DigiCal would be really helpful: https://digibites.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/article_attachments/202289441/week1_zommed_in.png

Why you guys are saying that this feature is missing? I am using this feature of protonmail. I am using protonmail from last 2 months and also attached it with my website https://mandslawyers.com.au/services/traffic-law/. If you want to know more about this feature just do let me know.

This is definitely the biggest missing feature of Proton Calendar for me. It’s the fastest way to quickly get an idea of your upcoming schedule. I always use the monthly and daily views in Google Calendar.

The lack of the full month view is literally the only reason I do not use ProtonCalendar. While developers may think it's more minimal (for some reason this means "better" in the modern era), for me having to select a day to see the list of events defeats the purpose of a calendar. I don't use my calendar only when I'm home on my computer. I use it most on the go where I see at a glance what I have going on. At the doctor's office to schedule my next appointment, at work when I'm scheduling after-work events with friends, at the bank when we're deciding when I should come in next to talk about my finances...I should be able to schedule all this stuff right away at a glance. I'm never only focused on "today".
In the meantime, for other users who are conscious of safety and want to get away from Google calendar, try "Simple Calendar" which you can download from the Google Play store, or F-Droid. (Orange logo by Simple Mobile Tools) I am using this in the interim until this functionality is implemented into Protonmail because I *would* like to keep everything to one system since all of my calendar invitations are sent to my Protonmail address.
