Custom 'Default event duration' for a calendar.
Make it possible to set a custom 'Default event duration' for a calendar instead of the by Proton preset values of 30, 60, 90, 120 minutes.
I for example need 8 hours default even duration for my work calendar.

+1 for wanting my events to default to zero minutes of duration. Also requested here: https://www.reddit.com/r/ProtonCalendar/comments/o5sa7c/any_plans_on_allowing_custom_default_event/

+1 for this. I want to go in the opposite direction. Namely, I always want my events to default to zero minutes of duration. This is possible manually while creating an event, but it is not possible to set it as a default.

I would love this as well. I have several calendars within proton, with custom colors, default notifications, and event durations. I usually have 1 calendar per event type, and some of these event always last the same amount. I would love to have a '4 hour' option.
However to make most people happy, it would seem to make most sense if this default event duration value can be completely custom instead of fixed options (n minutes, hours, days)

I've already set up default calendars with differing default durations, but none of them auto-populate when creating a new event of that calendar. Would be nice if creating a default duration would actually mean something.

Edit: I wonder if editing this comment will bump it up to someone's attention.
I somewhat desperately want this. Every. Single. Appointment. I book onto my calendar I have to manually correct the length of, because I cannot set a default of 50 minutes. It's a data entry nightmare.
