Add details to Email event reminders
Please add the actual name of the event and its details to the email notification.
I was excited to have the email notification option added, which was the last thing keeping me from switching completely from Google. However, the email notifications themselves are disappointing, as they don't even say what the event is, so I have to open my calendar separately to see. I keep the notifications in my email as a reminder and delete them when I'm done, and I need to know what the actual reminder is for without having to open the calendar.

Work on this feature request is underway, starting with iOS.
🗓️ A new calendar invite widget shows the main event info in all emails that contain event invites. Tapping on it takes you to the #ProtonCalendar app directly from your inbox.

The following options should be enabled by default, but user can disable (e.g, to save space of not wanting to show the information in the email)
- Include event name in the Email subject.
- Include all other calendar information in the Email body. -

I'm making the switch from GCal and this is essential.
At the least, ProtonMail users should get event title information in the notifications from their default ProtonCal calendars.

An option to enable/disable relative dates would be an improvement. I find them counterproductive.

Bonjour,
serait il possible, dans les alertes par mel, d'avoir le sujet de l'alerte, ça éviterait de devoir aller dans le calendrier, ça déchargerait le réseau et serait un gain de temps ;o) -

I would like to see the details of my calendar entries in the body of the reminder emails. This saves me the hassle of opening the calendar app to see what I’m being reminded of.

Yes, please add. I use email reminders a lot. This basic feature would save me a lot of time. I often have multiple email reminders show up. On the Android app, there are no details, so I have to log into the website, which is inconvenient.

Duplicate of https://protonmail.uservoice.com/forums/932842-proton-calendar/suggestions/46129918-can-my-calendar-email-reminders-include-the-event ...probably better to remove this one and port over the votes to the other one.
Not sure if the Proton team really look at this votes and/or issues here, because there are plenty way too old.

Proton Calendar email notifications should contain more useful event details, it is a bit strange to get a notification that doesn't tell you much.

Don't leave us in the dark with email reminders of our events. I want to know what is coming up just by glancing at the email subject

Please don't show "days" (i.e. Wednesday, Thursday) in the email view. I need actual "dates". At least give the option to change the view to show only dates.

This is for me a big miss and would love to see this in the near future as well

Without the event title, the present email messages are highly unpleasant.https://laptopwise.com/best-microsoft-surface-laptops-to-buy/ Email reminders are meant to remind me, not to leave me in the dark.

When I have an event in Proton Calendar and I have email notifications setup, the email notifications only tell me there is an event occurring on some date, the email notification doesn't include any details about the event. This means I have to open up Proton Calendar and review what the event is, which defeats the purpose of notifications in the first place. I would like the email notifications to include the event title at least. Just had one come in this morning and it just says I have an event in a few weeks, and I setup the notifications so I can address the event well ahead of time and don't forget. Overall big fan of Proton and all your services! Been slowly moving out of Google over to you all and been very happy!

Three up-vote here, This is sort of a common sense and an easy to fix one to have the title of the event in the subject of email.
Not sure why we are still discussing it -

A user should not have to open the calendar to see the event title!

I use email calendar notifications like a task list, so events hit my PM inbox. Once I complete the task, I archive the email clearing it from my inbox. I sort my inbox by "unread emails" so inbox 0 = all my tasks are done. Yay!
The problem is right now email notifications give very few details when viewed in the inbox, unless you open the email. All you can see is date/time.
I would love to see the name of the event without having to open the email so I can quickly get an idea of what needs to be done without opening the email. I would never need to open the email at all, as long as I can see the name of the event.
Thanks!

This is a critical feature and is preventing me from fully transitioning to Proton Calendar.

This is a critical change needed, along with https://protonmail.uservoice.com/forums/932842-proton-calendar/suggestions/42005188--search-option-in-proton-calendar, in my opinion. Once these two issues are resolved, I will consider using Proton Calendar as my primary calendar. Until then, sadly I cannot. :(

When receiving a notification email from ProtonCalendar all it provides is the time and date, is not possible to know what the event is about until the link inside the body of the message is clicked, at least in the body of the message the name of the event, and maybe also the description of that event would save the user to open ProtonCalendar only to check what is the event about
