Option to show calendar title event in email notification
Proton Calendar email notifications currently do not show the title of the calendar event (e.g. Reminder: event starting on Friday, March 4 (all day)). When emailing to the companion Proton Mail account, the email notification should include the calendar subject (e.g. Reminder: Jimmy's Birthday, Friday, March 4 (all day)).

Just chiming in to emphasize my vote, I use my email inbox as a ToDo/Calender reminder, so I would really appreacitate adding at least the Calender Event title in the email reminder subject, like it was with the Google apps. Love you! Thanks in advance!

+1. Email notifications are quite useless as they are currently implemented.

Same here. Reminders are very important in daily use and not being able to know what the event is about without reading the email is… disappointing and really frustrating.

One of the features I miss most from Google calendar. Email notifications are far less helpful without this feature.

This would be helpful, thank you.

Please consider adding this sooner rather than later. I can't imagine it's very difficult to implement. Coming from Google, I use calendar reminder emails to basically manage my life. They are my to-do list, my reminders, etc. Not being able to see the event title in the email subject ruins all of this. Now I have to send myself manual email reminders AFTER I get the Proton email notification in order to make sure I don't forget things.

There is a link to the event in Proton Calendar included in the email but it involves having to click and open the calendar application when the inclusion of the event title could save this step.

In the notification emails that arrive in the Proton Mail desktop application, you can see the title of the calendar event. However, in the Android application, only the time is visible, which can make it difficult to identify the event in the notification email.

I'd greatly appreciate this too! Especially when I get a lot of notifications, this makes the inbox look more readable.

Currently the email reminder I get about a calendar event says,
Reminder: event starting at 12:
And then I need to open the email to see what event it is about. Would it be possible to just display the event title, possibly truncated to ~20 characters, so the time would show at the end. Something like:
Chili cookoff @ 12:30 PM
Thanks!

Don't need yet another click and page load to see what the reminder is

How is this suggestion so low?! The Calendar is virtually useless without this functionality.

You cant see the topic of the calender Reminder in the Proton Mail App, when you get an Email Reminder on a Calender entry.
You see it in the Windows Client but not in the App for the cell phone. To see the topic you actually have to jump from the Mail App to the calendar.

This is the only reason I haven't completely left Google Calendar behind

TOTALLY agree with this!! Tell me what the event is!!

Came here to suggest this. This is the most frustrating thing about calendar event reminders. I don't want to open the email to see what the event is - just show me in the subject.
If there are privacy concerns, having the option to turn this on would be awesome. -

We need the details in the email.
If the calendar sends the email to a proton account, include the calendar title in the email subject. Include calendar details in the body.If the calendar sends email to non-proton account, include the calendar title in the email body to protect privacy.

Calendar email notifications should include the title of the event in the subject line of the email. Instead of just Reminder: event starting...

Currently, the subject line does not show the Event title. For example, if I have a calendar event "Call Grandma", this is what Proton's email notification subject would be:
"Reminder: event starting at 19:00 (GMT-7) on Thursday, September 19"
If you have a few of these, it looks confusing.
Compare this with Google's email subject:
"Notification: Call Grandma @ Thu 19 Sept 2024 19:00 - 19:30 (PDT) (Main calendar)"

It's actually incredibly annoying to look at a calendar notification and have no idea what it's for... It's also incredibly inconvenient to have to open up the Proton calendar every time just to figure it out. It would be so much better/easier if you could just give the option to show the title of notifications in the taskbar. PLEASE add this. Thanks.
