Dear Proton Team,
As a user of Proton Mail and SimpleLogin services, I would like to provide a suggestion regarding a feature in Proton Calendar that could enhance flexibility and user convenience.
Currently, when I send an event invitation through Proton Calendar, the organizer section always uses my primary ProtonMail email account and cannot be changed. This limitation creates some challenges, especially for users who utilize SimpleLogin to manage multiple email aliases.
Issue Faced:
As a SimpleLogin user, I link my domain to this service and would like to send calendar invitations using an email alias that is more relevant to the context of the event being shared. However, this feature does not allow me to change the organizer or select an email alias from SimpleLogin.Feature Suggestion:
It would be extremely helpful if Proton Calendar allowed users to select a different email address linked to their ProtonMail account—including email addresses connected via SimpleLogin and Proton Pass—as the event organizer. This would enable me to choose the appropriate alias for the context of the event being created, rather than automatically using my primary email address.Benefits:
Increased Flexibility: Users can select the most relevant email address for the event or audience.
Better Management: For users with multiple email aliases, the ability to change the organizer will make managing their digital identities easier.
Enhanced Professionalism: Using a relevant email alias for the event will present a more professional image to event invitees.
I believe this feature will add significant value to Proton Calendar and enrich the user experience.Thank you for your attention and development of this feature.

I agree with this idea because I just tried to move files from my computer vault to my folder vault and it didn't work.
This is very useful if I want to move files from the computer safe to the sharing folder.
now I move manually, and upload again to my file vault in the sharing folder, what a hassle.

I added a comment.
About user choice to show email, choice to select email or choose not to show email.
This is also good to implement in features:
- share proton drive (as suggested above),
- share proton pass vault,
- share proton calendar.A little case story, I have 3 domain emails in one account. It is very unsettling if my employees or clients see my main email.
(I often change the main email first before sharing it, this is very inconvenient)Surfboard6193

Work on this feature request is underway, starting with iOS.
🗓️ A new calendar invite widget shows the main event info in all emails that contain event invites. Tapping on it takes you to the #ProtonCalendar app directly from your inbox.

When I receive a calendar notification email in the smartphone proton mail application, there is absolutely no event title and so on, only a button to be directed to open the calendar application. (different from the one on the Proton Mail website or Protonmail desktop application).
This is actually very inconvenient if we want to see it quickly on a smartphone.
Please consider fixing this.

I just wanted to propose it turns out that there are already people who think the same as me.
This is a great idea, please consider this app (proton to-do).
This is a great productivity app, because everyone, all companies, all workers, all students use to-do to schedule their daily tasks (apart from calendar apps).
