Use SimpleLogin aliases in Proton Calendar
I have been using SimpleLogin aliases with a custom domain and forwarding those emails to Proton Mail, which has been working fantastically. The only downside is that I cannot use these aliases for calendar events, which is a major usability issue. In order to actually use Proton Calendar I would need to expose my actual email address which defeats the purpose of using SimpleLogin in the first place. I would love to be able to have Proton Calendar integrate with SimpleLogin aliases.

I totally get where you're coming from. I use SimpleLogin to keep my real email private, but when I add people to calendar events, it uses my actual email, which isn't great for privacy. It would be awesome if Proton Calendar could work with SimpleLogin aliases!

I have the impression this is working by using reverse-alias:

The lack of this feature is really annoying. It is what is preventing me from ditching gmail 100%.

Alias user here, this is critical.

Critical to my business as I give out custom domain aliases for invites. A workaround is that I download the .ics file that is sent to me, and drag it in Proton Calendar. It imports it but loses update features. It's a hassle to do it for each invite, almost every day, simply because I don't expose my real email address.

This is critical. I have been a long time user of both SL and Proton services (before the merger), I use aliases for everything and so cannot use the Proton Calendar because it does not let me accept invitations sent to my SL aliases. This is the one thing preventing me from fulling migrating over to Proton

This is absolutely critical to me, and it's mind-bending that this functionality doesn't seem to be a priority.

If a person sends a calendar invite to me - via one of my SimpleLogin aliases - that invite is forwarded to me. When I open it in Proton Mail I do not have the option to accept or decline the meeting. Instead I get a message in the header section that says "Your email address is not in the participants list"
Please it's really important this feature for business related stuff!
I'm a paying user, I migrated from Gmail and I cannot do my job because of the lacking of this feature! Thanks
