CRITICAL: HIDE PARTICIPATES OPTION
Would be easy to change, where the ^ to show participates has an option to hide it. Please make this change ASAP

Counterpoint, do we want proton to be associated with unpleasant surprises?
If some event attendees are hidden without any indication that they will be on the call, then the others may surprised at best or this feature could be abused at worst.
Does using an email alias for the invite to hide one's email address meet the same need this feature request is aiming to meet?

nice to have but prob low use case...

I believe the title should be "Hide participants option", or allow some TO, some CC (optional by default maybe) and some BCC. Or just the option to hide individual participants but making it clear some are hidden (BCCed) for others to be aware.

Yes, would be great to support BCC in calendar invites, hiding those BCC-ed, and allowing changes made to a calendar event to be updated to everyone.

Critical in that without hiding the addressees from disclosure makes the feature unusable to those wanting secure email notifications.

Using the Calendar to invite instead of emailing is a great feature and I would like to keep using it. But if an option to BCC participants is not added, I will have to go back to emailing.
