I would have switched from Google platform many months ago or longer if Protonmail had an calendar app. It seems to me calendars can be of several complexities, but I only need to keep track of my own stuff, and I do not need to share it with anyone. If Pm doesn't want to make click button approval (I.e. "yes", "no", or "maybe") to email appointment sharing, then fine. I will plan to add my own appointments by hand. But please just add a calendar. I am ready to sign up but for this issue. (Contacts have already been added in the last few months. Kudos.)

With a calendar, I would pay for protonmail. Now, I have to use protonmail for mail, but Google for calendar...

People who want that can use almost any other service. I PAY FOR protonmail, partly because it doesn't. I'd pay more, and I'd go find another service to pay for, if protonmail degraded its service.

I would absolutely love to have a native calendar. Going back and forth between another providers calendar and protonmail email is a bit of a pain right now. Let's get this live asap please :-)

I too would strongly prefer to make my ProtonMail accounts my exclusive solution for emails, contacts, and calendar management. As an email solution, it can't be beat! I still have to maintain a separate email account however to be able to manage my personal and business calendars. Please consider adding a calendar feature to ProtonMail!
