UI: Please relocate Mail-Contacts-Calendar buttons in PM v4.0.0-beta8+
Please don't waste an entire vertical strip of pixels for 3 buttons. How about place them horizontally above the compose button or bottom left near the version text. PM Font size and readability is excellent in current release, less so in beta.

Contraction and expansion of the new beta version menu
On the new Beta version the menu takes a LOT of space, which can be used for visualizing emails. I suggest 2 things:
1. All the options for inbox, spam, sent, archive, etc. Be put bellow the buttons for email, contacts and calendar.
2. Make contraction of those buttons default, leaving only the icons. And if you want to read what those icons are, you can leave the mouse a few secs on top of them so the menu expands, showing more detailed info3 votes -

Plan Option
For those of us who dont need 5 aliases and the other options the premium plans offer, why dont you consider a Plan to give users more storage at a reasonable cost, as once the calendar and other features arrive I assume storage space will be shared across all platforms.

Integration of an EteSync server within ProtonMail to manage Contact Synchronisation on several devices
EteSync is an Open Source zero knowledge Contact and Calendar synchronization service.
The integration of an EteSync server to manage ProtonMail Contacts & Calendars would permit a zero knowledge synchronisation on several devices, bringing one of the major missing feature to ProtonMail service.37 votes -
Google Apps Scripts like for ProtonMail
I would love to be able to add more advanced filtering rules and perform actions automatically.
Examples:
a) If working email outside working hours -> automatic email reply "not delivered" with a message "please send it back in office hours"
b) If already received more than X mail in the day -> automatic email reply "not delivered" because quota reached with a message like "thank you, retry tomorrow"
c) If in cc or bcc: automatic email request if its really important or not. if not or no answer delete it
d) If email message is too long -> automatic email…7 votes -
Access mobile signature on desktop. Reuse mobile signature across the account
I have several phones (let's say 4). I remember setting up mobile signature in the past... it's missing on this phone. I see no reason to not reuse the setup I've already done. Also, I don't see a way to use same desktop signature on mobile. The signature contains a link to my calendar, I need it consistently available to everyone.

Proton Suite
In order to get people to switch from one service to another, Proton needs to offer the security it is revered for as well as other services like Document editing, file storage, calendar operations, etc. Google does this without the security and trust, so if Proton could develop these apps and integrate them with ProtonMail, it would be a serious rival of Google and Yahoo!

Please add the option of using the app as an Email Messenger app, something like Mailtime app. I would pay for that!
It would be great to view and respond to emails that way. Plus, integrating reminder, calendar and attachments would make life so much easier, where you wouldn't have to leave the app as you respond to various emails. Using it like texting (messenger type or...) would be fantastic as an option. Those who still want to use the traditional should be able to keep that option!!4 votes -

Integrate with etesync/work like etesync for contacts and calendars
Etesync seems to have solved the encrypted contacts and calendars, and how they work with eg Android.
Can this be integrated into Protonmail, or work with etesync to use their code etc?

Notebook and Calendar
Hello,
Can you extend your e-mail with a notebook and calendar so that all the things that are important to me are secured. It would be nice to have a feeling that an important number written in the note will not fall into someone's hands or will not know about an important meeting with the calendar.

Pin emails to Calendar dates.
I would like to be able to pin emails to certain calendar dates.
This requires a calendar feature, but it would allow me to put important emails directly into my calendar so I don't have to switch back and forth between email and calendar apps.

A way to forward all calendar invites
I currently use another provider for Calendar (while you develop encrypted calendar - looking forward). I was migrating from Zimbra and noticed that it has an option to automatically forward calendar invites to another account. It would be great, if Protonmail allowed this. If someone invites me to a meeting and uses my Protonmail address, I would just forward it to another account and accept it there.
Even a blog with a simple Sieve script that is custom for this purpose would be great. I could forward all invites to my current calendar provider and still use protonmail for e-mail.
