  1. Show the birthday/annyversery of a contact in the calender

It would be helpful if a birthday/anniversary entered in the contacts could be made visible in the calendar (optionally activated) and reminders could also be made for it.

How wonderful to finally have a Calendar app for iOS! 🙏😊 But how disappointing: Still NO SEARCH function!!! 😒😒 And a whole week view would be HIGHLY appreciated! 🙂

  4. We need an option to schedule things by the "third Wednesday of the month."

Sometimes I need to schedule something based on the day of the week and the number of weeks in the month. In other words, if I have something that occurs on the "third Wednesday of every month," I can't schedule it to happen monthly since the number of weeks in a month varies. There is currently no option for this, and I've had to resort to manually calendaring these events individually.

  5. Create task in Proton Calendar

I would like to create a task in Proton Calendar. It's like an event but can be checked.
    Just like Google Calendar.

With notification, and this notification could check the task.

  6. Add option to colour-code events (Made to compile multiple similar requests)

Feature: Add the option to colour-code individual events.

I think the demand for this feature may be higher than it seems, as votes are fragmented over different feature requests.

This is an attempt to collaboratively compile similar requests. I hope it helps clarify the actual demand for this feature.
Perhaps Proton merges similar feature requests and votes internally, so please let me know if this is not helpful or if there is a better way to clarify the actual demand for features.

  7. Desktop Bridge application

I do not keep my browser open all the time, and as I primarily use my laptop for on-the-go computing, I do not always have an Internet connection available. Even with a desktop computer on home WiFi or a smart phone, (rare) issues do sometimes occur with my carrier/Internet provider that prevent Internet access for short or extended periods. This makes integration with existing PIM (personal information management) applications crucial, both for access to event notifications even in those few rare moments where I do not have Internet access, and for the ability to sync up my calendars when I regain…

  8. Integration with other apps and platforms

Would you be able to have Calendly and Zoom be integrated into your calendar? This will help me have Zoom links and email reminders saved in my Proton Mail business mail calendar without having to rely on my Gmail calendar and account for these features which is the whole point of moving away from Gmail and into Proton Mail and save me money from paying Gmail and Proton Mail for the same service. I would absolutely love it to have you be able to integrate Calendly and Zoom into Proton Calendar. This will help me run my business smoothly without…

  10. Remove colon (:) necessity for easier scheduling

Would be great if we could input "1845" and not necessarily "18:45" so we can just use the numpad and go on to the next input field.

I use the keyboard to fill in the whole thing but typing the colon takes more time and just inputting numbers and just pressing "tab" would make it a lot easier.

  13. Proton Calendar for Ipad

The window for the Proton calendar on the Ipad is sized for the iphone and leaves a lot of wasted space. Can the Calendar be expanded to use all of the available space available.

  15. Would be nice to have a "reminder" feature in addition to events

Basically "reminders" as in Google Calendar would be ideal. Main difference with Events is duration (no duration for reminder, a thin line in the calendar) and, most importantly, that reminder moves ahead in time continuously if I did not acknowledge it. By that I mean each time I open calendar I see these reminders that are not done yet. Currently I use Events also for reminders, but if I can't do the task right at the time of notification I easily forget it because I don't see it e.g. the next day.

  17. Use calendar offline

I don't really mind whether its a bridge to an existing app - Apple Mail, Lightning - or adedicated proton app but I need a calendar that I can use (rather than just view) offline. That means adding and editing events. This seems to me a pretty basic function, without it Proton Calendar is not much use to me. I am offline a lot of the time.

  18. Proton Calendar for iOS Feature: Add Event Participants

Thankful for the Proton Calendar for iOS. This is really a great step forward. But this app only has a fraction of it's utility as we cannot invite others or add participants to an event. I assume this is an encryption issue since we have this feature on the web version. We need this feature in the iOS Calendar app!

  20. Biometrics lock for Android and iOS Mail and Calendar apps

All Proton services are intended and optimized for privacy, why not have the apps locked with fingerprint lock/Face ID..... to avoid others from opening our apps (e.g seeing private sensitive events).
