2. Add favourite time zones

   When dealing with several time zones, people often have something like 2-5 time zones they work with most often. It is rare that a person would work with 10+ time zones. Would it be possible to make a list of favourite time zones so that they would be available for selection faster / more easily?

3. Auto-adjust the default time zone for the end of event based on time zone for the start of event

   When specifying the time zone for an event, usually an event ends in the same time zone where it starts.

   Currently, it is necessary to find and select the time zone twice when creating an event with a different time zone.

   In 99.9% of the cases, this is unnecessary work. Could you please revise the time zone selection part of the event creation form so that when the time zone for the start of an event is selected, that same time zone is also selected for the end of the event so that the only time one would select both is if the start and end time zones are different?

4. Proton Calendar with videocall meeting and chat system integration

   Feature or app in the stack.

   It would be lovely to have a proton security and privacy policy compliant to make web meetings easily.

   Also a chatting system will be so good.

   This feature could be so important for enterprise environments. Also the chat system should be able to make private chat links in order to invite someone else to a chat room to not have never problems between companies chat systems being unable to integrate with each other.

   This both features will enhance a lot comunication between business and can boost up business accounts sales i guess.

5. Remove a canceled single instance of a recurring event from an external sender

   When an external sender cancels a single instance of a recurring event that I'm invited to, I would like to be able to get that event off my calendar.

   Desired user experience:
   1. Person invites me to a recurring event series
   2. Person sends a cancellation for a single instance of the event
   3. I receive the cancellation and see the instance w/ a strikethrough and "canceled" status on my calendar
   4. I open the event and press "Delete" (or trash icon)
   5. The instance of the event is no longer on my calendar. All other instances in the recurring event series are unaltered by these actions.

   Current broken user experience:
   1. Person invites me to a recurring event series
   2. Person sends a cancellation for a single instance of the event
   3. I receive the cancellation and see the instance w/ a strikethrough and "canceled" status on my calendar
   4. I open the event and press "Delete" (or trash icon)
   5. I get a modal prompt that says "Delete recurring event - This event has been updated by the organizer. Would you like to delete this event?" and I click "Delete"
   <BEGIN PROBLEM>
   6. The instance of the event does not get deleted. Instead it reverts to looking like a normal instance of the event; the strikethrough on the name, white background on the event, and "Canceled" badge are all gone.
   7. When the expected UX fails me, I try to manually decline the single instance of the recurring event to get it off my calendar, but I cannot because that feature doesn't work either (see https://protonmail.uservoice.com/forums/932842-proton-calendar/suggestions/48933599-decline-a-single-instance-of-a-recurring-event-fro)
   8. I am now stuck with the canceled instance on my calendar forever, unless I decline the entire series (which is not a viable 'workaround')

   "I would like to clear a canceled event from my calendar" is basic / MVP / table stakes calendar app functionality that it feels odd to have to submit a request for. But until (and so that it might!) exist, I'm submitting this "idea".

6. Decline a single instance of a recurring event from an external sender

   When an external sender invites me to a recurring event series, I would like to be able to decline single instances of that event.

   Desired MVP user experience:
   1. Person invites me to a recurring event series
   2. When I need to decline a single instance of an event, I go to that event on my calendar and set my "Attending?" status for that instance to "No, I won't attend"
   3. I am prompted whether I'd like to decline just this event, all future events, or the entire series. I select 'this event'.
   4. The single instance of the event is no longer on my calendar, and (bonus points!) the person who invited me is notified that I've declined that instance. All other events in the series are unaltered by this action.

   Current broken user experience:
   1. Person invites me to a recurring event (e.g. Weekly on Monday from 9-10am), I accept and the event is on my calendar. So far so good.
   2. Eventually I need to skip one upcoming instance of the event (e.g. the single instance on Monday October 14, 2024 from 9-10am), and want to decline the invitation for that single instance so that my calendar is accurate and to notify the person who sent the invite that I've declined that instance.
   3. I go to Proton Calendar on web (or any other platform), find the instance of the event, and try to set "Attending?" for that instance to "No, I won't attend".
   <BEGIN PROBLEM>
   4. A modal pops up that reads "Update recurring event - Would you like to change your answer for all the events in this series?" with options of "Update" or "Cancel"
   5. Neither option works; clicking "Update" declines all events in the series, and clicking "Cancel" makes no change.

   These are both not the outcome I want. I don't want to get rid of the entire series. I don't want my calendar to be inaccurate when I know I won't be attending an instance of an event, or to leave the person invited me with inaccurate information that I'll attend when I know I won't.
   <END PROBLEM>

   This is basic MVP calendar app stuff, and I'm going to have a hard time using Proton Calendar (and by extension, Proton Mail, and if not either of those then probably scrapping the full suite) much longer without it.

   Is there any hope of getting this sort of table stakes digital calendar functionality prioritized?

   If not, just say so and I'll show myself out, no need to drag this on.

8. Hour is false on widget (android)

   On widget and notification of upcoming event are not at the right hour (1 hour more)
   For exemple, on desktop and android app, an event is scheduled to start a 8pm, on the widget and notification, it's written 9pm.

9. Automatically follow system theme should update the theme when the system theme changes

   MACOS Desktop version: When the system theme changes while the app is running as of now you gotta restart the app or go into settings and toggle the theme settings manually. For me this makes the feature worthless since I have the app open all day.

11. An .ics attachment in Proton mail should easily lead to an event in Proton Calendar

    When I have received an e-mail in Proton Mail with an .ics attachment I should be able with one click on that attachment to import/save it in Proton Calendar. Now I can only download that attachment (tried in windows app, android app and browser).
    This seems to me a very logical function!

    Sustain color-coding from imported events

    Currently, when you import other events into a proton calender, the previous color-coding gets lost and replaced by the chosen proton calender color. However, it would be great if you were able to import the events as they were with they color they had, and not get "lost" in the new color.

13. RSVP to event from mail/calendar mobile apps when not on the recipient list

    I forward my Gmail to Proton which works fine for email but not events. Even when my contacts use my non-Gmail address on an event, on their side the client (Google?) switches the address to my Gmail information. When I open the event in Protonmail on mobile (Android), I'm unable to RSVP. When I click "Open in Proton Calendar" I get a message at the bottom of the screen in Proton Calendar saying I'm not on the invite list, and nothing show up for that day. Yet, from the Protonmail web mail client I can choose to RSVP directly from the email, without having to use Proton Calendar directly.

17. iOS Lock Screen: Option for Newer Reminder Banner to Replace Older Banner (for Same Event)

    I often set multiple reminders for a single calendar event, and the reminder banners accumulate and don’t disappear on their own after the event is over. It gets very messy on the Lock Screen to have, for example, 5 banners for Event A (past) mixed in with 3 banners for Event B (future), and I have to manually sort through them to dismiss only the Event A banners.

    I would like (1) an option for the newest Event B reminder banner to replace any older existing Event B reminder banner, and (2) an option for banners for past events to disappear on their own without manual action.

    I hope multi-day events are displayed as continuous long bars in the weekly view, similar to how they appear in the monthly view, instead of showing short bars at the top each day. This only occurs on the smartphone app, while the web and desktop versions already display how I prefer.
