Modify existing events in the mobile app
If an event is created with participants, this event cannot be modified at all from the mobile app (iOS in our case). Regardless if the event is recurrent or a one-off, it is not possible to modify it after it's been created w/participants in it. Single events that I create without additional participants can be modified.

Just enter your event the same way you would tell someone: Natural Language Input
In Fantastical you can literally just type:
Grocery shopping at Wegmans Thursday at 5pm Lunch with Matthew at 123 Main St at 1:30 Monday Family vacation from August 9-18 Staff meeting Tuesday 2pm alert 20 min Soccer practice every Tuesday at 6 Sam's birthday every year on 5/16 Pizza party on the 2nd Friday of every month at 1pm Flight 593 on Monday 3pm EST to 6pm PST
Want a reminder instead of an event? Just type in "task", "todo", or "reminder" before your sentence:
todo Pay rent reminder Buy basil

Calendar app for iPadOS respecting screen size
Please make a proper iPadOS app for the Calendar. Today it's possible to use the iOS - butt - yeah, it's kind of useless given it's screen size. Making the app respecting iPadOSs screensizes would be nice.

Sync the color of a calendar item in a shared calendar
First off, great that colors, sharing and changing a single item in a sequence are implemented.
But I would like one more thing. Sync the color of an calendar item if a custom color is set.
I like google's solution. That is a standard default color (1) for a calendar (which can be different for each member and is not synced). And a second color (2), which defaults to (1) but can be changed and is synced. If you look at the item, the first part (most left) is de default color (1), the rest is (2). Items in the…

Making calendar like budgeting app. Treat time like money.
Hi,
Recently I read an article (written in Chinese) about treating time as money (https://rich01.com/time-bank/).
Time can be seen as a kind of asset that will automatically generate 1440 unit (then disappear) per day. So we might apply financial concept on time just as money:- Budgeting: Budget time and reserve it for important but not urgent things.
- Emergency Reserve: Don't fill up schedule, keep enough flexibility for yourself to cope with unforeseen situations.
- Bookkeeping: Keep track of your time.
- Investment: Look for things that bring more value per unit of time invested.
- Dollar-Cost Averaging: Allocate time to one…

Event Types - Tasks
Would love an event type for Tasks like Google has. This would be something that would send a reminder, but roll over day to day until marked completed.

Support of WearOS and WatchOS
Since users of samsung/apple/other watches is increasing. I believe it is important to start to support Proton Calendar on it. As it saved users time with watches. Specifically the inclusion of a Tile so that we can see our day's agenda.

Collapse Left Sidebar/Nav
The right menu/sidebar can be hidden or collapsed. However, the left one stays permanently. On smaller screens, this takes up valuable real estate that could display the main calendar instead.
When collapsed, the new event button could move over to the top of the screen in the main calendar area (or just move it there permanently).

Invite Participants via Link in Proton Calendar
I would like to suggest adding a feature to Proton Calendar that allows users to invite participants via a shareable link. This would simplify the process of inviting others to events and make it easier to manage invitations without needing to manually enter each participant's email address.

Events should overlap instead of always taking up separate columns
Like in google calendar, smaller events inside larger events should overlap on top of the larger event instead of forcing the larger event to be half of the column size. This makes it easier to view events at the same time. For example, I have "work" in my calendar, but I also have meetings throughout my day in my calendar. This causes work to become half-sized instead of just overlapping the meeting on top of the work event.

colors choice for events but not contrasted enough
you've added color choices but there are not contrasted enough between each other. we still can't identify quickly. For exemple the blue colors are too much alike. The brown too close. We need some reddish color. More primary. Please

Skip weekend
Currently, when we add an event for a whole month for example, weekends are included with a solid line.
The idea is to add a button or checkbox when creating an event, so that we can check or toggle "Skip weekends" or "Exclude weekends". This way, when we see the event's colored line, the weekend will be skipped.

Ability to Search for Contacts by Phone Number
Hi! I have been using Contacts within ProtonCalendar more lately and would really like the ability to type in a phone number (or partial phone number) and see which contact it belongs to. Some people I only have emails for, so the search by email is great! I think expanding it to allow for searching by phone number would be super helpful and also allow Proton Contacts to better compete with the likes of iCloud/Google Contacts but with all of the awesome E2EE on top :)

GNOME desktop integration
In addition to macOS I also regularly use various Linux distributions and would love to see Proton listed as an online account option for full integration into the GNOME desktop environment.

Refresh Calendar Feed
There does not appear to be a way to force a refresh of a calendar feed. For example, I have a Google Calendar that I share with my partner. I deleted items on that calendar, but they remain in Proton, even after several hours and multiple force browser refreshes.
As a thought, you could put the refresh option in the three-dot, drop-down menu that appears next to each calendar name.

Take the location from the contacts.
As is already standard in many other calendar apps, the location field should allow me to search for contact files and also generally offer a search.
