Please add the option of using the app as an Email Messenger app, something like Mailtime app. I would pay for that!
It would be great to view and respond to emails that way. Plus, integrating reminder, calendar and attachments would make life so much easier, where you wouldn't have to leave the app as you respond to various emails. Using it like texting (messenger type or...) would be fantastic as an option. Those who still want to use the traditional should be able to keep that option!!

  4. Integrate with etesync/work like etesync for contacts and calendars

Etesync seems to have solved the encrypted contacts and calendars, and how they work with eg Android.

Can this be integrated into Protonmail, or work with etesync to use their code etc?

  5. Notebook and Calendar

    Hello,
Can you extend your e-mail with a notebook and calendar so that all the things that are important to me are secured. It would be nice to have a feeling that an important number written in the note will not fall into someone's hands or will not know about an important meeting with the calendar.
    Regards

  6. Pin emails to Calendar dates.

I would like to be able to pin emails to certain calendar dates.

This requires a calendar feature, but it would allow me to put important emails directly into my calendar so I don't have to switch back and forth between email and calendar apps.

  7. A way to forward all calendar invites

I currently use another provider for Calendar (while you develop encrypted calendar - looking forward). I was migrating from Zimbra and noticed that it has an option to automatically forward calendar invites to another account. It would be great, if Protonmail allowed this. If someone invites me to a meeting and uses my Protonmail address, I would just forward it to another account and accept it there.

Even a blog with a simple Sieve script that is custom for this purpose would be great. I could forward all invites to my current calendar provider and still use protonmail for e-mail.

  8. Support for ics files

I'd like support for calendar files (*.ics) to be added, to allow accepting/declining invites directly from the protonmail application.

  11. Calendar & Contacts Suscription Plan

Once the calendar feature is available I would like to make a second protonmail account just for a calendar that I can use with my family. Please make plans that will just only use certain features like calendars and contacts.

For example you can have your account use the free 500MB email storage but pay to use the calendar feature only.

This way users won't have to pay more money for things they will not need like email storage or email addresses or email domain names.

  12. Gmail features with Protonmail security?

Gmail has "Inbox" that allows for quick bundling and easy deleting of noisy messages. It also has features that pull out calendar events, travel itineraries, etc. to be highlighted in the inbox or added to my calendar seamlessly. Is this something Protonmail could pursue as well? It makes organization easier.

PS- It would also be nice to utilize all of the above offline.

  14. Proper passbook and ical and other files handling

It should be possible to add passbook files (i.e. tickets) contained in emails to the wallet app. The same for ical files. While they can be viewed it's not possible to add them as entries to the calendar app. Both and eventually even more standard file types should be supported

  17. keep it simple

Do not over complicate the user interface with calendars and folders and avatars etc. On other sites this makes them look trashy and a pain to the eyes. So far you have it spot on. Looking forward to import of emails and sync with Thunderbird client.

  19. I need to be able to export all my contacts into essentially a printed phone book

I need a way to select multiple or all contacts and export them into a human readable phone book. vcf and CSV files are great for import / export to another machine but I want to put my contacts list into a binder. Google had this feature and it was awesome but I am no longer submitting to them. Please provide this feature soon. When you are not working on the desperately needed calendar function that is.
