Merge proton accounts
I tried Proton Mail free before buying a subscription and am so disappointed I can't use the paid features on these accounts. I am allowed more than one account with my subscription. Why can't it be the ones I already have and use? Such a pain to have to switch over between

Merging proton accounts is already a feature. (https://proton.me/support/combine-accounts)

Is there a process for merging separate accounts of family members into a family account?
If I am the admin of a family account but can neither administer that account nor pay fees due to e.g. death, koma etc., is it possible to define family members who are authorized to take control of that account?
Not knowing an answer to these questions is my reason for not setting up a family account.
(My wife has the access data for my account. She also has an own Proton account. In earlier times I frequently restarted the payment period for both accounts in order to keep them alive for two years in case I die etc. Unfortunately that is not possible anymore.)

It would be useful to be able to merge Proton addresses. For example, before, I did not have a premium subscription and I had several Proton addresses for different uses. Now, I have a Mail Plus subscription, but only one of my three addresses could benefit from it. As a result, all the accounts associated with these other addresses are outside my subscription, which is inconvenient for reasons I believe are unnecessary to detail.
Thank you for reading.
And if this function exists, I would like it to be easier to find.

I've paid ProtonVPN subscription with the newly created account but now I want to buy ProtonMail subscription and attach/merge ProtonVPN to that general account. So I can't merge two accounts and it's horrible. In total, I should wait for ProtonVPN to end and buy it from the main Proton account...
