To be able to have a +1 account.
Not everyone needs to add 5 people to an account but would like to save money when adding 1 additional. For example I believe it is important to share my password keeper with my wife. Love the service but also would love to have some flexibility in the plans. THX.

Is the Duo plan good for couples or siblings who share unlimited plan tools with 2 accounts, but isn't it clear to me if you lose something like "Sentinel" or email alias?
If Duo is the doubled unlimited plan is better or will have to buy some forgotten tool again -

A Duo plan for couples would be very welcome. No intention of adding kids or extended family or friends, so the family plan is overkill.

I second this. This would probably help a lot of people to convince e.g. partners or good friends to switch to the Proton ecosystem. Not many people have 5 like minded, privacy conscious people in their life they also wanna trust with their accounts and stuff.

This is a very good idea. I have often had the same thought occur to me. Many of us are couples without children.
